I use command line twidge for twitter, it gives a strange error on terminal, I don't understand. I tried to update, but nothing happens.
Code:
abhilash@abhilash:~$ twidge lsrecent
curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 401
twidge: user error (("curl",["-A","twidge v1.0.0; Haskell; GHC","-s","-S","-L","-y","60","-Y","1","--retry","2","-f","--user","abhilashm86:","[URL]"]): exited with code 22)
It was working fine from starting, is anything problem with updates/ program?
I am looking for an interactive terminal based twitter client. It seems like there are a few around, but some of them appear to be abandoned. Does anyone have any recommendations of a good one to use?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was following the installation instruction in the official website for Termtter. But it doesn't work...
I did
Code:
sudo gem install termtter
. It finished successfully. It says 'command not found' when I run 'termtter'.
Just an FYI for anyone who may be having this particular problem. A short while back, I was trying to attach a picture to a Twitter post, and dropped my network connection. No big deal...connection came back, and things went on. Next time I launched Choqok, it popped up a message saying "Server Error: This method requires authentication". It was puzzling, and didn't appear to impact my use...until I went to send a direct message, and it would give that error and crash. After quitting Choqok, the file (/tmp/ksocket-user/klauncherXXXXXX.slave-socket file) was still present. Deleting that file manually cleared the error up. I've seen this mentioned in a couple of other forums, but none with a solution posted.
If anyone else has that error, and this method resolves it, please let us know. I'm using openSUSE 11.4, but it should apply to any version/distro of Linux using Choqok.
Is there any IRC client that supports VI keys? The ''obvious'' script VimIRC is and has been broken for so long it's not even funny. Do you know any IRC clients on Linux, GUI or Curses, that provides some of that nice vi usability? Or could some of the existing clients be scripted to use? Irssi, XChat, even ERC would do?

I sort of need a program that supports webcam so I can communicate with my family when I leave town in a few weeks. I've tried aMSN, emsense, Pidgin (webcam hasn't worked in that program for ages, heh), empathy (just audio works), skype, ekiga, and so on.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a PHP based IMPA client with these requirements:
- User accounts (not same as imap email accounts)
- Each user can add multiple IMAP emails to his account and check/use them.
Is there any solution for my requirements. I checked Squirrelmail and roundcube but I am not sure they can do this.
Otherwise I will need to either develop a system from scratch or modify an existing one to do my job. I hesitate to develop myself as it will take months if not years to make it stable and bug free.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've grown very fond of Gwibber, since the introduction of F13 as a Twitter-client. However since 5 daysGwibber is no longer updating the timeline. As the problem maintained, I also installed Pino and Twitux. But they seem to have the same problem. I've tried to uninstall and re-install them, but that didn't solve my problem.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am running fedora Fedora 2.6.31.5-127.fc12.i686 - works fine, but it puts my display adapter in old fashoned simple vga mode.
DISTRIBTION
Fedora 2.6.31.5-127.fc12.i686
Mysql 5.1.47
Apache 2.2.15
CONFIGURATION
1.25 ghz AMD athlon
NVIDIA RIVA TNT display adapter
ECS K7S5a board / chipset
AMD BIOS 07.00T
512 mb main mem
128 kb primary cache
256 2ndary cache
66 mhz bus clock
I use the bios to dual boot between two disks, (1) this op sys and (2)win98se - where I have a driver that fully supports the nvidia.
The disadvantage to my current situation is that there are some programs - eg Evolution - that assume I can see more than you see with this setup - eg the buttons at the bottom of the screen do not appear and i have to do a trial and error tabbing to get what i want. I just downloaded openoffice and i see that it wants 1000x2000 or so. Thus I wont even try to install it unless i can resolve the adapter thing.
I'm very happy with this fedora - use it for software development. But as I become more fond of it, I would like to use it instead of windows - which I can't unless i can see the whole screen
At one point - in response to a suggestion that I download security updates - I did so and got 2.6.32.12-115.fc12.i686. It was incompatible with my config - put up a screen that looked like a tv test pattern and went into a loop. So I went back to 2.6.31.5-127.fc12.i686.
I have 6 year old computer with Geforce 2 Integrated GPU . Windows XP serivce pack 3 supports 1440x900 resoultion with no issues of my new LCD display. But hearing lot of linux improvements,I thought Ubuntu/Fedora/Suse over past few years must have become equivalent to XP. Friends of mine use Fedora in office. So got Live CD and installed . Installed fine but my monitor resolution only displayed 800x600. (highest possible). Thought that since Linux runs on mobile it can very well run on my Old Computer.
