So I want an older version of autoten that had frostwire in it. Because the new autoten does not have frostwire installed.

I know I've had this working in 64-bit Ubuntu before but now when I try to install it, I get an error saying that I have the wrong architecture (which is true). Has anyone gotten Frostwire to install?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a program which has the same in-program search system as LimeWire/Frostwire, in the sense that when you type in your query, the program opens a results window in-program, listing all torrents relating to the query. I'm looking for this because my sister doesn't want to look for downloads on a torrent site, she just wants to stay in the program. Personally, I don't mind the current method, but I do understand the irritation when all you've even known is Limewire (and derivatives). I simply made the jump, but I agree that initially, it was jarring. I know that uTorrent has a search function, but it opens a web browser to search, and that's not what I'm looking for.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have recently installed Fedora 15 KDE (with Dual Boot Win7) on my computer:Dell Optiplex 330, Intel Core2Duo- 2.53 GHz, 32 Bit, 2GB RamnVIDIA 8400 GSWhile going through the Guides mentioned here: for F15, I tried to install nVIDIA Drivers after updating the Kernel.suyum update kernel*rebootHowever it gave me some errors and then I did try the following method (as described in Missingbox studio guide)su -yum install akmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs.i686 bootconf-gui kernel*develfollowed by Reboot.
I start my computer, I get the screen which shows that Fedora will boot in 3 seconds. This is followed by a black screen with a "Blue followed by white" Bar running towards right (where Fedora 15 is written)....It stays there for ever (I waited for 3 hours and then switched off my computer).Presently I am writing this post through Windows7.Is there any way I can repair Fedora through Win7 or by any other means.---------- Post added at 10:57 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:51 AM ----------I remember the instructions (given by leigh123linux) that we should provide the following information
rpm -qa *vidia* *kernel*|sort;uname -r;lsmod |grep -e nvidia -e nouveau;cat /etc/X11/xorg.confI had it saved as a .txt file in my home folder.
I recently upgraded from Fedora 13 to Fedora 14 and noticed something strange when I used Yum to install GNote and Inkscape. Yum installed the Fedora 14 version of the programs, but installed some dependencies that were actually from Fedora 12 and 13. The output below shows what packages were installed.
Yum output:
==================================================================================================== ===================================================================
Package Arch Version Repository Size
[code].....
When I ran the yum command to list all of the packages for the dependencies in question, it only listed the version for Fedora 12 or 13. Is there something wrong with one of my repositories or do these Fedora 14 programs actually use packages from previous versions of Fedora?
So i'm VERY new at this, i need fedora for this research i'm starting. I have a dell and vista was installed on it, then i installed fedora 10 like it said on the fedora site from a boot disc. Now i have fedora but i don't have vista nor access to the memory it took up. I tried to restore to start over but i can't, and i need vista back.
Normally i would restore from the 10 G partition dell sets up for recovery but i'm not able to get to it, and i don't have my vista discs they're back at school.
What do i do?
i have insatlled fedora 9 on a system with xp already installed on it but when i start fedora it hangs while booting. after starting the service ANACORN it hangs and same happens with fedora 10. it hangs while starting CUPS.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow does one access a Virtual Box installed Fedora system? I'd like to be able to ssh into this system (locally) but I've no idea how to do this. There is an ip address of 10.0.2.15. Ping doesn't work (ping 10.0.2.15). Should I just go ahead and assign a 192. address to this box before I go any further? It would seem that at this point the system isn't actually a part of my local network and I don't imagine it would be unless it has a 192 address.

sdb Fedora 14
There is a problem (I can see) with F14 install.
In the past the grub was installed during install (since Fedora 6).
Now choosing an install disk "sdb" (install target
drive) requests a drive to be chosen for
bootloader, but if the alternate drive sda is
chosen (this case the XP drive), it is formatted.
I have gone though install many times to see what I missed.
This once worked beautifully. What did I miss?
I now have XP and Fedora 14 installed but I cannot reach Fedora 14.
I had to do a fixmbr to get to XP
Since I cannot reach F14, I cannot get to grub2 and have to use .97
Here's how i did it after reading a lot of threads from fedorasolved.org and this forum. At the command terminal:
chmod 777 Joomla-1.5.9-Stable-Full_Package.tar.gz
su
mkdir /var/www/html/joomla
cd /var/www/html/joomla
tar -zxvf /joomla/tar/file/location/Joomla-1.5.9-Stable-Full_Package.tar.gz
gedit configuration.php (this is just a blank file. Save it and close gedit)

I have just installed a new hard drive with Fedora 14.

i have a VIAO VGNCS22 machine of a client in my hands and i tried dualbooting RHEL 5.3 in that with windows vista. the installation went successful but the mbr is not installed. tried installing grub from rescue mode but not working.... is it the problem with the machine or what?? somebody told me that the MBR is locked....
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I just installed a LiveCD version of Fedora on a USB stick. I also did a persistent disk so I can install a few items.
My main goal is to use this to remote into my home computer. I *think* I installed rdesktop, but I don't know how to access it or where it was installed. Here's what I did to install it:
su -c 'yum install rdesktop'
The installer downloaded a package and reported that the install completed.
I installed lmsensorsDid the sensors-detect and the summary is
Driver `w83627ehf':
* ISA bus, address 0x290
Chip `Winbond W83627DHG-P Super IO Sensors' (confidence: 9)
Driver `coretemp':
* Chip `Intel Core family thermal sensor' (confidence: 9)
And 'sensors' says
atk0110-acpi-0
Adapter: ACPI interface
Vcore Voltage: +1.11 V (min = +0.85 V, max = +1.60 V)
+3.3 Voltage: +3.38 V (min = +2.97 V, max = +3.63 V)
[code]....
There are no pwm-capable sensor modules installed
