I have builded a svn server using apache before. But recently I can not check out from the svn server,and error code is as follows:
svn: Can't find a temporary directory: Internal error
I have searched in the google,they said no space on the server.But my server have much space.

I use web server apache use php fastcgi (Centos 5.2, apache 2.2.9 , php 5.2.5 and fcgi-2.2.4 ). I receive error : "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. contact the server administrator, no-reply@zz.vn and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. When is switch off "Addhandler cgi-script .cgi" in the config file i see the code. Permissions are 755 on the whole directory. I have checked a2enmod, the modul is loaded (sudo a2enmod cgi)..here are the part of config files :

I have installed the latest version of aMSN (aMSN | Download aMSN software for free at SourceForge.net) which supports sending my webcam video. Unfortunately, it is unable to send my audio at the same time which is highly frustrating.
Does anyone know of a Linux equivalent of MSN which allows video and audio communication. I have tried Kopete, although the call feature button is inactive, despite having setup my webcam in this program.
I have also tried installing a program called qnext, though webcam and audio support between alternate different Instant Messengers (IM's) are not supported.
i'm facing an error 500 internal error and i don't know where to start .... I am using the htpasswd.pl script dwoloaded from net. I can run the perl file using the command line and gets the sytax OK message. The contents of te htpasswd file is as follows:

I am trying to write a chat program with sockets as part of my project. I made a socket server, using fork ,I tried to connect it with different clients.Each client will send messages to others through server.So server has a shared memory storing every clients username and client id. But the problem facing is first client is able to sent messages to every other client formed after that.But second client onwards it is not able to sent message to previously connected ones. Server is not able to write on those client id's.

We're having an issue with HTTP POST file uploads on our two Ubuntu PCs. For some reason, whenever one of our users attempts to submit a file in an HTML form, the request times out, usually with a 500 Internal Server Error message. This problem is not limited to one site, but occurs on all sites that use file uploads. Also, the problem does not appear to be with our network, as a Windows 7 PC on the same network can upload files to the same sites without any difficulties. The problem is not browser-specific; we have tested with Firefox, Epiphany, and Google Chrome and all produce the same results. The issue is relatively new, and was first observed within the last month; before this time, both machines had no problems uploading files.
Does anyone have ANY idea what could be causing this? I've tried a number of things, including rebooting the PCs, rebooting the network, disabling IPv6, etc. I'm not very experienced in Linux system administration, but I can use the terminal and am familiar with some terminal-based diagnostic tools, so if you need any additional info or want me to try something, please let me know! I've exhausted my own computer knowledge with regards to finding a solution to this problem.

I've tried other OS (at that moment I was on Fedora 12, now on Debian; was a Suse also) and it didn't work. I've tried replacing my hard disk, since it needed an upgrade either ways - that didn't work either. I assumed that it's the RAM fault - tested them with memtest and it says they are fine. Does anyone know what else I can do in order to figure out where the problem is?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm running Dovecot version dovecot-1.0.7 on CentOS 5.4. I'm trying to create subfolders and I can't. I've tried Mac's mail application and Thunderbird; they both come up with an error, basically saying that the server doesn't support level one folders(subfolders). Squirrelmail can't create subfolders neither. I did some reading and thought that perhaps the problem lies in the /etc/dovecot.conf file; specifically with the "mail_location" directive. I currently don't have that directive active which means Dovecot uses defaults settings: saving users' mail in the %u/mail folder. Is there any way to configure Dovecot to use subfolders?

I am tired of managing local Address Books and Calendars. I use either POP or IMAP email accounts now and want to keep the email accounts I have. What is a good Mail Server I can setup to Let me use a Global Address Book and Shared Calendar System between Outlook 2003 and Evolution, but not create email accounts? In Other words I want a Local Server I can setup that does nothing but manage a Global Address Book and Calendars. I want to keep using POP and IMAP accounts for the email side of things.

My laptop has an internal web camera, but I'd like to use the Microsoft HD lifecam here > [URL]. The microsoft usb cam works just fine in skype, and what gets me is the chat rooms "options" let's me select the usb cam, but still runs the internal. Other than disabling the internal? I'm all for disabling the internal if It'll make the USB one work in the chat.
