Having an Error with a commercial Account program Called Pastel Accounting [URL]When I invoke multiuser Access to opening one account set
of books with multiple users for opening one account, it produces an error. I'm able to open the one set of books with a password. But when trying open the same set of books from another computer, it produces an error. The attached file shows the error. The Database engine is Pervasive Corporate Site > Home. Does anyone knows good commercial or non-commercial antivirus software that runs on ubuntu 10.04 and that works with the samba v-scan module? I was thinking about Avast, but I'm not sure it works with samba v-scan. Also I'm not sure it is possible to install the avast server edition for linux on ubuntu 10.04.

where I can obtain a RPM of a program called "aacgain"?
It 'normalizes' the volume of m4a, mp4 and m4v files quite nicely. It used to be in the Packman repositories but I cannot find it in the ones for openSUSE 11.4 and going back to openSUSE 11.2 (my previous install) I cannot find it there either. I used to have it installed though and it still has a page on Packman's search page, here, PackMan :: Package details for aacgain . It is rather odd, its website, AACGAIN , says that it can only be released as source code due to licensing issues but I can't seem to find it in the zip of the source code for "mp3gain" like it says it is on SourceForge.
I would just like it back on my system after I upgraded to openSUSE 11.4 and I find it rather useful so I am missing it quite a lot.

Where would I find a package called "mod_php_any"? I'm setting up a web server (lighttpd) and I wanted to install phpMyAdmin and rpm -i came back and said that dependency was needed for the install. So, OK, I tried to install squirrelmail and got the same error.I tried using webpin to find it and I looked in the at repositories/server:/php:/ sub-directories with no luck.

I tried make, but it doenst really work. So i think i dont have good requirements.

I've installed oS11.2 on a test box and joined it to our office domain without a problem. It's presently using winblows domain for authentication.
I can login normally, but when I attempt to unlock the screensaver using my windows credentials I am told that my account is "locked out, contact admin..."
A quick look at AD shows that my account is indeed being locked out, presumably when the 11.2 locks the screen.
what's causing this and how I can correct it?

Had setup ssh in openSUSE 11.2 and modified the configuration file /etc/ssh/sshd_config to PermitRootLogin noHowever, I am still able to login through ssh as a normal user and then do a su to switch to a superuser/root.Isn't PermitRootLogin no supposed to prevent this?

I manage to get my mobile broadband working (connected, I mean) in both root & user account. However, my web browser, IM etc only work in root account.In user, knetworkmanager does show that my Huawei E160G is working fine, connected but I still can't surf the net & chat. I've included the dialout & uucp group for user account but that still doesn't resolve the problem

we got our apache server (running opensuse 11.2) hacked yesterday and I see doing a lsof -i that a bash command using account wwwrun connects all the time to a botnet [URL] and even if I kill it, it reconnects again and again. I've clean the /tmp folder, I've check the crontab but I can't find it.

I feel there's a bit of a misunderstanding going on between C++ and me...My problem is that I have a deque of pointers to a class, and create objects then add them to the deque in a for loop. However, the destructor is called on the object as soon as the loop quits.

Now, if I change the deque from deque<Test*> to deque<Test> then it works fine - I get:

However, I can't do this with my actual code, because I am creating a deque of pointers to an abstract class, so it won't let me instantiate the class. (This is all so that I can take advantage of polymorphism, and call functions on a set of similar objects without worrying what type of object I'm dealing with).
So, I suppose my question is: what is the correct way to create that deque of pointers to the abstract class? I don't seem to be barking up the right tree currently.

I have a problem with the Google search box top right corner in Konqueror, when entering search I recieve an error page "Unsupported Protocol" Google asks for ioslave or kioslave. Also when highlighting text on a page and right clicking with the mouse no search option is given. I created a new user and all works as it should for the new user. What is wrong with my user account? I have reset default values in Konqueror setup.

1) In one of the pages about the differences between Linux and Windows it mentioned that new drivers mans updating the kernal. In windows something like this would erase everything. Can the kernal be updated without losing everything? 2) Can you have more than 1 account on mint? (ex: Owner, Billy, Guest...)2.2) ...Can the accounts have different access levels? (ex: Admin vs user)2.3) ...Is it possible for one account to run a program the others don't? (ex: Billy's account will load a video enhancer program on start up, but as I don't watch as many videos my account won't.)
3) How can I tell which themes/add ons will and will not work on my Firefox once I have switched to Mint?4) One of the games that I would like to follow me on the transition does not work in Linux but supposedly works in WINE according to the manufacturer. I'm not that new to Linux having used a few other distros but at the same time i am not really 'clued up' and can quickly get stuck. My problem is trying to get an IM program to work with my MSN account. I use this just to keep in touch with family/friends. Pidgin, doesn't seem to have an option to add an MSN account at all. I installed Empathy after using it in Fedora which gave me an option to setup a MSN account but it doesn't connect?

I am using RHEL 6. When i use CAP3 software for the first time it successfully resulted. But second time when i used, it's showing "segmentation fault (core dumped)". Even after restarting and reinstalling it showing same error. When i google, i found it some memmory related problem. But no clear information.

I have a problem with Opennebula that I have been trying t o solve for weeks, I have tried many options and have got nowhere. I have two HP ML115 servers configured to act as opennebula cluster nodes named opennebula01 and opennebula02. I have also installed the Front-end opennebula management deamon on node opennebula01. To use opennebula I have created a paswordless oneadmin user which seems to be ok because I can ssh to localhost and both nodes without a password. Using the onehost command I have created two hosts both tehse hosts are running correctly.

Periodically the opennebula monitoring system will fail, the problem I am having is that the logs keep showing the message:
"sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified"

I have used the visudo command to change the sudoers Defaults visiblepw option but I just get a "root's password:root's password:sudo: pam_authenticate: Conversation error" error.

I am facing two issues with CUPS - 1. I have installed cups 1.3.9 over OpenSuse11 x86. Please check below -

I have added few printers over there and everything is working fine. I can also able to add - delete - modify any printers from "yast2 printer" command. I can also able to browse cups web interface via http://cups:631, but when I am going to manage the printers (start - stop - delete etc), none of the buttons are working in firefox5 not even in IE also. Older version of firefox is giving error as "This address uses a network port which is normally used for purposes other than Web browsing. Firefox has canceled the request for your protection." All other buttons are working properly.
2. LINUX - LINUX Printing - OK
LINUX - WINDOWS Printing - OK
WINDOWS - LINUX Printing - NOT OK
While giving printing from Windows machine (Printer attached on Linux), there is no problem to coonect the printers, but unable to print.
