Software :: 32bit Program Still Not Running After Installing Ia32-libs On Debian Squeeze

Jun 1, 2011

I have a Debian Squeeze x64 VPS that I have been renting and I'm having some trouble getting the 32bit version of the Ventrilo server to run. I found alot of people with this problem since Ventrilo only has 32bit Linux servers and this solution seems to work for everybody but me. URL...t=798157 Could it be because of a newer version of ia32-libs is not providing a library that is considered obsolete but Ventrilo still needs?

Software :: Get The IPrint Client Running On Fedora X86_64?

Mar 9, 2010

Is there any way I can get the iPrint client running on fedora x86_64? I'm not interested in getting browser support (doesn't work anyway with version 4.38 - the only one my organization supports) I just want to be able to add a printer from the printer configuration dialogue.

Has anyone had any luck? The .rpm is for SuSE. It can't find the necessary dependencies of course. Is there any other way? Even if I force install the .rpm for SuSE, I dont' get any additional configuration for iprint in system-config-printer.

Readme file says:

Requirements

Lifeograph requires the following modules to be built:

* gconfmm,
* gtkspell, and
* gcrypt.
Installation
------------

Type "make" to build and "make install" to install (all without quotes). No configuration atm.

I tried make, but it doenst really work. So i think i dont have good requirements.

-> how do I install the required modules? -> I've found some in packet manager, but some appear to be librarys.

Ubuntu :: Netbook 10.10 - Something Is Missing In NTFS Called Wiulibsomething Then It Goes To This Cmd Type Screen With Grub

Oct 18, 2010

I had Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and used the Upgrader to go to 10.10. After it went through downloading and installing Ubuntu, it wanted me to restart. Upon restarting and picking Ubuntu in the Boot Options, it says something is missing in NTFS called wiulibsomething then it goes to this cmd type screen with grub>. I have used Linux for about three weeks now, and I think one of the threads after me has already talked about this and I'm really not sure how any of this works. I don't want to sound dumb, but yeah, I've used Windows all my life and I'm clueless how to fix this. EDIT: Error is Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB possible device or file completions.

Software :: File /var/lib/named/var/named/reverse/named.zero Failed: File Not Found

Mar 14, 2009

Mandriva 2009, BIND 9.5.0-P2. Named will start however I'm getting the above error as well as these:

14-Mar-2009 15:45:37.084 general: error: zone 0.in-addr.arpa/IN: loading from master file /var/lib/named/var/named/reverse/named.zero failed: file not found

Named shows to be running but with the errors above I know it's not running correctly. I also copied the above dir's over to /var/lib/named/var/lib/named which is where I 'believe' it's chroot'd at, though I could be wrong since I'm unfamiliar with chroot.
