Software :: Error - SoftException In Application.cpp:357: UID Of Script "/var/www/phpMyAdmin
Jul 8, 2010
I have been trying to install this for couple days and researching the error in google yields no results. I downloaded the source for myphpadmin
!mv it to my site www directory, when I try mysiteIpaddress/myphpadmin
I get internal server error. !Looking through the logs give me :

The past couple of updates have messed up my localhost phpMyAdmin application. After the update I get the following error. Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly.
I have the old files backed up and when I restore them everything is ok. Why doesn't the update work? I figured it had to be a path or permissions problem. I gave unrestricted access to all users on all files and it still does not work. I found a php script in a phpMyAdmin wiki and it gives me this: If a session could be started successfully you should not see any Warning(s), otherwise check the path/folder mentioned in the warning(s) for proper access rights. The current "session.save_path" is "/var/lib/php5". Session file name: "sess_dee3dp1j6takbdtpvl702nbcptdivh82". which seems to me to say everything is cool pathwise.
I setup opensuse 11.2 with lamp. I then installed the lastest version of phpmyadmin. All works great except I get an alert at the bottom of my phpmyadmin login page along the lines of "...cannot load mcrypt setting" I created a phpinfo.php page and I don't see any info on mcrypt. Doesn't appear to be installed. Is this an issue with my lamp setup or with phpmyadmin. I have read differing views. Some say its related to php others to phpmyadmin. Can anyone give me instruction on how to install and, if needed, configure mcrypt?
After upgrading firefox with the upgrade manager I can't run phpmyadmin on my local computer with firefox. phpmyadmin works with Epiphany, just not firefox, however phpmyadmin works if I log into the server where my websites are located, so whatever the problem is it's on my local computer.I get this error after logging in
phpMyAdmin - Error
Cannot start session without errors, please check errors given in your PHP and/or webserver log file and configure your PHP installation properly. The only error logs I've been able to find are MySql and Apache

I get "403 Forbidden You don't have permission to access" after attempting an installation of phpmyadmin.
CentOS 5.4 Permissions for directory set to 755 recursively (chomd -R 755 <directory name>) Directory is in /var/www/html/
I have other test pages in the /var/www/html/ directory that I can access ... I know this seems like a permission issue and in fact the error log states this is a permission issue, but I cannot figure what is the problem here.
I'm still getting my head around setting things up on my web server, I've configured php to run off of Fast CGI, rather than mod_php, due to better memory consumption. I've managed to get my virtual hosts configured to work with fastcgi, ensuring the following options are set:
I tried adding those settings to /etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf, but this doesn't seem to work. Whenever I go to www.mydomain.com/phpmyadmin , I just get a 403 Forbidden Error. This used to work no problems on mod_php.
[URL].. because the alias is set so that my virtual hosts can access it through /phpmyadmin. There is probably something basic I am missing here.
My problem is when trying to connect to: "hxxp://www.m-y-d-o-m-a-i-n.com/phpMyAdmin" I reported Error 404: PHP Code: Object not found! The requested URL was not found on this server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again. If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster. Error 404
problem installing phpMyAdmin on CentOS 5 I believe i did install phpMyAdmin Correctly I can even see it in the directory in usr/share/phpmyadmin I also setup the blowfish password and i also change the [auth] cookies to html. and i allow 127.0.0.1 to access it But when i type [URL] it replies no such file or directory. I even tried [URL]
I have a web application that runs on PHP and MySQL on opensuse 11.4 (web server) and opensuse 11.1 (database server). The web application uses a .htaccess file that causes my site to error with error "403 forbidden". If I add "+FollowSymLinks" at the top, it loads the application just fine. But problem is that I have an issue with the application, and they believe that my .htaccess file is at fault since it's custom. I hightly doubt it but wanted to eliminate that as a concern.
I installed KDE 4.4 through Ubuntu's repos and then upgraded to 4.5 via backport PPA. I am unable to unmount any USB device. It keeps saying it's in use by another application. Even if I plug it in and do nothing, but then try to unmount, it gives me this error?
I am trying to learn it, understand it, and maybe even become proficient with it (one day... ). After trying a few different flavors, I settled on Fedora XFCE, and installed v14 (i686) in a dual boot setting with Windows. I am running it on an HP laptop.I have had an issue ever since I installed a rather large list of updates a few days ago. One of which was a Linux kernel update to 2.6.35.6-45.fc14.i686 (not really sure if that is significant, but I noticed the issue after selecting this kernel version in the boot menu). Now, anytime I try to add software, or run the update utility I get the error message:Quote:You have failed to provide correct authentication. Please check any passwords or account settings.
More Details:Failed to obtain authentication. There was no dialog to provide my password. I do understand there are alternatives to installing and updating software using yum, and I have been doing that a bit, however I would really like to understand why I am receiving this error. I have seen a few related posts as well as a some similar issues in a bug report, and testing session:bugzilla.redhat.com - 638344General a similar gpk-application issuecannot use Add/Remove software through VNCMy questions are:Is this a bug with one of the updates I downloaded? Is there a way to revert the changes from that update, or do I need to reinstall Fedora? Is this an issue with the User account I created? Is there a general set of options I should enable for myself as the primary user?
I did a large update to F15 from an older version of F15. I am using x86_64. I could not reboot (will post separately on that issue). Rebooted the previous kernel in the KDE safe mode, and things look ok, except for NVIDIA CUDA code, which had been working perfectly:
[dtelford@localhost release]$ ./Mandel* [Mandelbrot] starting... [ CUDA Mandelbrot/Julia Set ] Initializing GLUT... X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
There's a site where you can play classic NES games online without any installation, just need Java: nintendo8.com. But when selecting a game from the site's game list and it tries to load, I get this error: icedteanp plugin error: Failed to run /etc/alternatives/../../bin/java. For more detail rerun "firefox -g" in a terminal window.
I then ran "firefox -g" from terminal, tried again and got this log: ERROR: Invalid browser function table. Some functionality may be restricted. /usr/src/packages/BUILD/icedtea6-1.9.2/plugin/icedteanp/IcedTeaNPPlugin.cc:1506: thread 0x80935c0: Error: Failed to spawn applet viewer: Failed to execute child thread "/etc/alternatives/../../bin/java" (No such file or directory) I have Java up to date from its repository.

I want to use LibreOffice but I keep getting an error every time I try to open any office application.
The error is : The application cannot be started. [context="bundled"] caught unexpected exception!
I installed the .debs the first time and thought it might be wiser to install it from the experimental repos. So I reinstalled but there's no difference,I keep getting the error.
I reinstalled and found that the same error is caused by the installation for the dictionaries.I removed those but the error is still present.
I've seen people post this error on some forums except context=user and not bundle. However,it seems those were Windows 7 machines and that it's a 64 bit bug.
I'm also running the 64 bit version.
Also,if I try to install the desktop-integration .debs I get another error ( that is,if I remove the dictionaries, otherwise the installation runs just fine ) :
I am using OpenSuse 11.2 which I just installed. I was working on one QT application in OpenSuse 10.3 with few KColorButton in it and it was compiling fine under that dist. Now after copying the project to 11.2 environment , I can't make the project. It's now throwing linker error :
I recently installed OpenSUSE 11.3 amd64 from DVD on a new HP 625 Laptop. Whenever networking is activated, application startup slows down significantly. When I deactivate networking in the nm-applet application startup is fine. I am using the broadcom-wl package from packman for the broadcom wireless card (BCM4313)
For awhile I have had this issue with the command line and every time I try to complete any command that requires GTK graphics, It always returns the error "Error: cannot open display: 0:" The "EXPORT display" command that I normally use to fix this issue is not working. The only issue that I can think might be the cause for this could be my upgrade to natty (which was in fact a clean installation), or when I edited plymouth so that the startup and shutdown animations would match my laptop's native resolution (by the way I would also appreciate it if I could do the same with the startup animation, only the shutdown really works). If anybody know how I could resolve this issue I would greatly appreciate it. Oh and for specifics on my machine, I am using an ASUS N82 with an NVIDIA GEFORCE GT335M graphics card, running Ubuntu 11.04.
I am trying to get the application NagVis to run on our Nagios server. The installation appeared to complete successfully, but when I access the web pages, I get the following on-screen error:
I want write a 2-way chat application in the my website, and i have to use the juggernaut plugin. but a recieved an error that " internal server error"
I have a platform independent compiler. so, i created the common api's and platform api's using my complier. so i have this library files named cmn_api.a & platform_api.a in my auto/linjtag/lib.(they will be created when we run the makefile of the compiler).
The problem is when i'm trying to run the console application of my compiler. i have a menu.c from which i choose different modes and i operated on that.
When i tried to open one of the executable i'm getting this error:
I'm running Dovecot version dovecot-1.0.7 on CentOS 5.4. I'm trying to create subfolders and I can't. I've tried Mac's mail application and Thunderbird; they both come up with an error, basically saying that the server doesn't support level one folders(subfolders). Squirrelmail can't create subfolders neither. I did some reading and thought that perhaps the problem lies in the /etc/dovecot.conf file; specifically with the "mail_location" directive. I currently don't have that directive active which means Dovecot uses defaults settings: saving users' mail in the %u/mail folder. Is there any way to configure Dovecot to use subfolders?
I'm trying to log into phpMyAdmin, but when I go to the page, I type in my username and password, click Go, and then the page refreshes with no error message
I have XAMPP on my local pc runnung ubuntu that i use it for testing purposes...During the initial XAMPP Security configuration the password i put for the phpmyadmin was the same as my main Ubuntu password so i wanted to change into something different.. (I had to share phpmyadmin with others so i didn't wanted to reveal my Ubuntu password)I changed the password but now i can't log into PHP my admin!is there any way i can reset the password or add another root user with all DB privileges? Here is what I did (I am writing this only by remembrance cause now i can't access phpmyadmin :S ):1. Clicked on the Privileges tab2. Selected the root user3. Changed the password *4. After several unsuccessful attempts to change the root password i repeat the same steps above and additionally I checked the field that said something like: "Delete the user and create a new one with the new password"
