Jan 22, 2010finnaly i can run my ubuntu server 9.04 well, thnx to this great member of ubuntuforums.org now, i wanna i wannna install SNMP on my system, but after i do that, when i wanna connect with another client, it give me error like this :

Jun 30, 2011Windows and Samsung PC studio Software I used to surf internet in my Laptop(Windows Xp) using Samsung PC studio software with the help of my Mobile Phone.When i am in Linux without Samsung PC studio Software.I am using Ubuntu 9.1 and trying to connect internet through Samsung Mobile Phone C6112.When i connect this mobile Phone to the Ubuntu through Cable wire, The Ubuntu recognized its a Samsung Usb Modem.I tried using Mobile BroadBand Connection Settings in Ubuntu.its not helping.Solutions which are useless
1.People says that Wine cannot be used to execute the Windows Version Samsung PC studio Software Because the Wine Cannot recognize the USB activities.

May 27, 2010I am using ubuntu 8.10 ....
i am unable to configure my internet on it ..i have tried a lot of things, which i have are as follows...
1. i used these commands but unfortunately no result... sudo ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.21 $ sudo route add default gw 192.168.1.1$ sudo vi /etc/resolv.conf this file is edited to enter ipadd etc....
2.Setting the ipaddress in system>admininstrator>network config
there i edited the properties of "Auto eth0" for my ip address, mask, and default gateway....
P.S: My internet connection is perfectly working fine in windows xp. Details shown in windows are :
ip address : 192.168.1.21
mask :255.255.255.0
gateway :192.168.1.1
dns :59.179.243.70
