His download was a 32 bit, so I could still load on my 64 bit at home.would allow me to open guest on both computers. However, circumstances with the login occurred, and I have to re install.I am trying to find the exact same thing that he had (he is not available for me to use the cd). All I have is the kernel, as this was all that would show. I want to make sure I download the correct version, so I can continue to use the guest on the 32 and 64 bit machines. The kernel is: 2.6.31.5-127.fc12.i686.PAE

Code:
yum install vboxgtk

View 5 Replies View RelatedI installed Ubuntu 9.04 on a Dell Latitude E6410 I have neither Ethernet connection or WIFI connection.
If I could figure out how to download the kernel source for ubuntu 9.04 then I can build the devices into the kernel and get them working.
Where can I find the source for Ubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28-11-generic.
Also, there are names for the Ubuntu. How to figure out the name of my OS?
Note, I tried to install Ubuntu 10 but the screen was blank after I booted off the installation CD.
For some reason, when I click on the Slackbuild link for virtualbox-kernel (3.1.6) for virtualbox-kernel-3.1.6.tar.xz , it downloads as virtualbox-kernel-3.1.6.tar.tar. The file is misnamed. If it is renamed virtualbox-kernel-3.1.6.tar.xz , the SlackBuild works just fine.

The bad news is that my NVIDIA drivers are gone in the wind. That's not entirely true as I can still boot into the old kernel and startx. Is there a way to download the driver using the command line for reinstall?

Basically (in easy to understand steps): how do I download correctly the Kernel source to enable the driver make operation to proceed?
I have a debian box running Apache2 and PHP5.2.6 lenny.
When a request is made via https, php displays the content fine. If the request is made over HTTP the file is offered for download, rather than displaying it.
I know its probably something trivial but I've never seen this issue.
The plot thickens, I can display PHP over HTTP in some directories but not others (which offer the file for download)?
I am running Fedora 10, Postfix and Dovecot I recently changed the password of a user using the 'passwd' command. The problem is that the user can no longer receive their email messages in Thunderbird (Authentication Error). However, they can still login using SquirrelMail and get their mail.

So, does s.o. have any idea why the same call that does work on another client does not work on the Server? And why does the call with localhost on the server work?
Is that a bug in the FireFox-Browser or where do I have to tell him that he should interpret the php-code also from the IP and not only from loccalhost?

default in openSUSE 11.2 we have installed kernel-desktop. This kernel is optimized for the desktop.
What is the name of kernel optimized for server machine? In my case Firebird database + Apache + PHP?
