I like to watch NASA TV - [URL].., however when I go there Ubuntu says I need the Microsoft Media Server Protocol plugin and it offers to search for it. The search finds no acceptable plugin. I have tried this in Firefox and Google Chrome.
View 3 RepliesKDE just upgraded on my installation of Slackware to 4.3.5 and it doesn't show my Yahoo Messenger in the list of accounts. When I try to re-add it, I get this message:

It worked fine in KDE 4.3.4 (with the exception that Yahoo disconnected every couple of hours or so for a few seconds before reconnecting).
I'm not even sure which Slackware package includes Kopete...

Got to say first off, I have LOVED the 10.10 release, absolutely adore it. Only problem that I have noticed thus far, is that when I use any of the non standard buttons, it causes my left clicking to stop working.
It's not a big deal but something that does come in handy every once in a while =/
"The playback of this movie requires a SMB protocol source plugin which is not installed." I get this error when I try to play a movie from a samba share. This is a fresh install of Fedora 10 KDE. I installed all the necessary codecs using the rpmfusion repo. Movies play fine if I transfer them to my computer.

My music library contains some old .wma files and each time I try to run Rhythmbox, a window pops up saying that:

So far, I have installed MySQL server and libmyodbc. I took the deetails for the odbc.ini file from the ODBC ubuntu community page, so this is the current setup (database name is business):

I thought about samba, but I'm not sure if it's secure enough to be internet-facing. Now my background on Ubuntu and linux in general isnt amazing, I have configured server at home to act as a file sharing platform and a media server, but thats about it.

I've tried running the install but limiting the resolution, but from what I can rememeber server doesnt install the GUI to start with, so it should just be showing me the standard CLI.

But what i want to know is that possible to join a domain without time synchronisation? Because my domain controller is working for another time zone, for another Country, so i can not synchronise it with my Ubuntu server.
