When you first access Nagios, it displays the Home page (the Nagios Core version and check for updates page). I would like to have a way to change the default page to either the Tactical Overview display or the Services display.This question was asked here, but not answered

But when I visit http:/localhost ，it shows up the list of files in <var/www/html> as if a ftp server browsed in web page. I did the following: vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config; uncommented Port 22 and changed it to the desired port number. After that I run service sshd restart for the change to take an effect. Now, when I want to login into the new port I receive this message - Network error:Unable to route to host. When I change the port back to 22, I will be able to login again.

As of now, when I upload a file, it plays but has no "play/pause/stop/mute/fullscreen" buttons. How do I get those? I've tried installing FFMPEG, MPlayer and a few others to no avail. Users then can browse to their site by going to[URL],,.How can I get apache to show a different or default page if the user does not have a index.html file in their public_html folder. Cause if they dont, you get a 401 saying you dont have permissions to view, etc. So id like apache to default to something else if the user doesnt have a index.html.

I came across this script a while back that i found. What i want to do is edit the script to create a default web page in /var/www/html a new user is added through the script.What the script does now is adds a user and sets a password for the user. What possible way (either through a combination of python or c or some other language) could i add to the shell script to do this? I've tried just dointhe command to touch index.html /var/www/html but it puts it on the desktop. Here's the script....

1) I have my Nagios running on the linux box and BMC Remedy Server on the Solaris box. I have simulated a mail from Nagios to be delivered to the Remedy server. But the Remedy Server does not receive it. I even tried snooping on port 25 but nothing has reached the box.

By default, a "route" shows me: 192.168.0.100 * 255.255.255.255 UH 0 0 0 tun0 But I want it to read: 192.168.0.0 192.168.0.100 255.255.255.0 UG 0 0 0 tun0 ... so I can access other computers on the network. I can accomplish this manually by running: ip route add 192.168.0.0/24 via 192.168.0.100 dev tun0 proto static How can I get this to be the default route? I've tried adding push "route 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0" to my /etc/openvpn/openvpn.conf on the VPN server but that has not helped.
