in a PHP web page i need to run this following command to create a new domain:Code: virtualmin create-domain --domain DOMAIN --pass PASS --plan 'Standard Package' --limits-from-plan --features-from-plan.This is usually executed in a shell but i don't know how to do it from a web page and also i need to take the domain string and pass string from a web form. Can anyone help with the PHP code as my skills are basic and i have already tried a few things that just don't work.
I run a web server using mandriva 2010.2 , I use webmin / virtualmin to facilitate the administration of virtual hosts, I've tried using nginx module for webmin that is in [URL] but for some reason the module could not be used by webmin.
I've already tried Seamonkey to create a web page but can find no way to create a web form in which I want to create form fields. Before moving to Ubuntu I used Microsoft FrontPage to create web pages with form fields. This was easy to do. what is available to do the same in Ubuntu?

So a family member was very nice and got me a killer server for my house. Not sure what I will do with it just yet. I will post spects shortly. Its Intel raided 2 750G drive 2G CPU and I believe 2 or 4 G memory. Rack mount with a KVM on it.
I have narrowed it down to 3 OS choices. Ubuntu : I run this on my LT and find it very nice for that. Some nice Media server Sw out there for it. I do some side work on RedHat and for my current employer so I was thinking CentOS or Fedora so I have a system running a similar OS on it.
At home this may be a www or media server for me long term. Or I may just use it as a test system initially to work on these Linux versions. I know this is all subjective and depends on what I plan to do with the server in the long run.
But out of the Fedora and CentOS release which is better knowing I am doing work in Red Hat for my current employer?
I would want a linux print server in the form of a web interface, where you upload a PDF, doc, JPG, PNG, PPT, TXT, HTM etc file in a file upload box, and then that file is printed to a USB connected Samsung CLX-3185 printer.Which linux distribution and software should I use then? I would want it to support so many file formats its possible.
At our university server, I patched together a script (lets call it connect.py) that kind of glues together a series of calls to different other programs (the first one is in Python2.X, the second is a binary so I use os.system('/path/to/program input.pot') to start it, and the last is in Python3.X). It kind of seems to work well now when working under my user account, where the script has the permissions to call the programs, because I installed them. Now, when I want to start the connect script by pressing a submit button in an HTML form, naturally I start running into trouble. Now its no longer my user who is calling, but the server (Apache) with very limited rights. In the progress of writing the connect.py script, I had to do quite some environment adjustment so the various Python modules could be imported.
What is the easiest way to get the script started from an HTML form? I guess it would not be good practice to start extending the PATH variables of Apache, would it?
I bought a web hosting account(cPanel) and I want to create my own name server(ns1 and ns2.mydomain.com). So when I want to host addon domain, I can point them to my name server instead of hosting company name server.
I am having a web server (apache) and 3 sites are hosted in it, named as www.web1.com,www.web2.com and www.web3.com. I need to restrict www.web2.com to Internet users and allow only to local network. At same time I need to allow www.web1.com and www.web3.com to both Internet and LAN users.
I'm trying adjust my proftpd server's settings, that anonymous users could download what they need smoothly.
A small problem made me so bemused:
In the configuration file of proftpd, I place the following setting section in the <anonymous> section,
Code:
After restarting the proftpd server and applying the configuration, I try downloading a file in IE browser. Sometimes, it prompts a saveas dialog, and everything was okay.
However, it occasionally prompts a login form instead of a SaveAs dialog. This makes our customers confused greatly.
So, how could I prevent browser from prompting login form when anonymous users try to download files from our ftp server?
I have a centos 5.4 64-bit machine. I installed the directory server following those steps. I then added some users using the Centos Management Consolecentos-idm-console -a http://localhost:3890 &
I have just configured a Directory Server and I have been able to login using the credentials as a Directory Manager on the server.
I am working on the server through VMWare.
After logging into the server, when I am trying to add a user, say "user1" I am unable to do so, in the name of the user name field, all I can see is a "u" and not the complete user name, the same thing happens in case I try to setup a password, so i really don't know whether the password that I am setting up is being accepted or not.
Also while trying to add a user, i can see the logs running in the background on the terminal, that a java program is running as I typing or clicking on any button.
Can someone suggest me what to do to proceed ahead, I know its a strange issue, but I have to do it.
i'm trying to create simple form that will also upload only xml data. first, the user will need to upload an xml document only by clicking submit, the data will be posted to the server and the user will be redirected to uploader.php. This PHP file is going to process the form data and do all the work.
I am attempting to create a form in bash that would display multiple radio lists with an OK and cancel button on the bottom. I tried using the command line tool dialog, which is really nice. But it won't let me do multiple radio lists on the same form.

We are using several printers on our Linux RH network to print customer invoices and receipts. Receipts are short forms of just 21 or 22 lines. Two of the printers (an HP LJ1300 and a Dell 5200) eject the receipt paper automatically; the other two HP (a LJ 4200 and a LJ2420) do not eject. You have to press the green button on the printer. Is there a solution to that? They are all set up with the same PCL settings.
I have installed a linux server in my office to run 16 machines. Its main use will be a internal mail server but will be also running websites.
I have installed Ubuntu 9.10 server x64 and have got apache running.
I am looking for the simplest more robust solution for smtp, pop3 and imap. I have only ever used qmail before and found it a pain to configure and its getting old so I though I should probably try something new. I have not much experience with running pop3 or imap on linux so would love a suggestion on that.
