Presumably there is a reasonably easy tool to use to create my own short of reverse engineering the xml files.

Dec 2, 2010I downloaded Lives. It looks neat. I cannot figure out how to get still images to form like a slide show. I was able to open a short movie I have uploaded onto my pc from my digital camera. Edit -> Multitrack mode seems to be where multiple movies can be placed. I do not seem to be able to place the still images on here. Maybe I can and they just don't show up on the timeline well.

Feb 22, 2010I had good working installation of Fedora 12 x86_64 on my desktop, but few days ago, during watch movie in mplayer, sound disappeared. Till today i can't figure out, what happened - no errors displayed, no changes in configuration and no sound (both KDE and Gnome).
I checked soundcard in ubuntu live cd and it works fine. Also on login screen in my current Fedora 12 "beep" plays when i choose user, but after this i have no sounds.
I have up to date system, pulseaudio installed (i tried to remove it, but with no effect - without it also no sound).
Strange thing is, that sound disappeared during normal work, not after update or install anything.

I presume the ipt_recent table uses the standard UNIX epoch timestamp. Am I using the date command syntax incorrectly, is this a 32-bit vs 64-bit break, or it is something else? Please note that I am using FC10, and I have double-checked my system clock settings (both BIOS and OS). The system has only been running during 2009 (no reboot yet).

I have a USB pointer/slide changer, which was working fine in Fedora 9 and also works fine in Windows or even some old Fedora 2 on a Desktop.

I have ssh access to his PC anytime. Sep 11, 2009I have an HP mini 110 with Fedora 11 install. I installed the broadcom-wl and wl-kmod from yum but still no wireless. First I can't get the broadcom card to turn on using the slide switch on the front of the computer. The device is inactive in the network configuration-devices window. The card is not in the network configuration hardware window. When I try to add it manually, there is no entry for the card in the drop down list. I am new to Fedora but have used linux for years. Unfortunately this is my first attempt at wireless networking.
The posts and google stuff doesn't say much more than "yum install broadcom-wl" Can anyone point me into the right direction? I have a feeling I am missing something very simple, because this computer dual boots Linux Mint and wireless works flawlessly.

Feb 28, 2010I am having a problem when using Flash. Whenever I am listening to a Flash application (..... primarily), I am unable to hear sound from any other applications (Rhythmbox, movie player, etc).
The converse is also true, if I am using Rhythmbox, and then start ....., the video plays...but with no sound. I have to manually kill the app and web browser (tried multiple...Firefox, Chrome, Swiftfox) to get sounds working correctly. I am my wits end with this problem, and have just putting up with it for several months now.
