View 1 Replies View RelatedAny tools to assemble a set of images into a Gnome desktop wallpaper slide show -- like the Cosmos one in the default selection?I can see its a folder with the images and an xml file that controls the "playback". Presumably there is a reasonably easy tool to use to create my own short of reverse engineering the xml files.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen there has been no activity on my computer for a few minutes a slideshow of desktop backgrounds begins. Last week a new image was added: a red circle with a red diagonal line. It's like the "Don't go there" traffic sign. I have no idea where it came from.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAll I'm trying to do is ShellExecute a program every time a new slide appears.
I'm using Office 2003 Powerpoint.
I did the following:
1. Tools, Options, Security Options, Macro Security, Security Level= Medium
2. Tools, Options, Macro, VBA Editor:
Code:
Sub OnSlideShowPageChange(ByVal SSW As SlideShowWindow)
MsgBox ("OnSlideShowPageChange")
End Sub
3. File, Save
4. Back to PowerPoint: F5) Slide Show, View Show <= Did NOT see the message box
5. Exit out of Powerpoint, reopen the .ppt file, F5) again <= Still don't see the message box
why isn't "OnSlideShowPageChange" getting invoked when I run the slide show?
I downloaded Lives. It looks neat. I cannot figure out how to get still images to form like a slide show. I was able to open a short movie I have uploaded onto my pc from my digital camera. Edit -> Multitrack mode seems to be where multiple movies can be placed. I do not seem to be able to place the still images on here. Maybe I can and they just don't show up on the timeline well.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've been using Konqueror for years, but I hadn't ever tried playing with the Appearance > Stylesheets settings in the Settings > Options > WebBrowsing menu. Now, I'm regretting it.
Here's exactly what I did:
1. Went to that Appearance > Stylesheets and clicked on "Use accessibility stylesheet," then Customize.
2. The "Suppress Background Images" option was checked. I unchecked it, because I wanted it to display them.
3. Clicked Close, then Apply.
Then I reloaded a page, and for some reason, it wouldn't display the background images! (Odd, because I unchecked that box.) So I went back into the same menu, chose "Use default stylesheet", OK, and reloaded the page. Nothing changed. Now, every web page I go to doesn't display background images. Other than that, everything looks identical -- it's obviously loading each website's stylesheet, because all of the DIVs and such are in the right place wherever I go. Just . . . no background images.

I was wondering if I can show an image on our php site if we store the path to it. For example if we get the result form my sql as:
images/example1.png and the handle the result as common html.
< img src="databaseresult" width="173" height="188" border="1" / >
is this possible? do you think theres a better way to do it?
we need to store the images locally we cant use a blob space on the table.

Im using FF 3.5.2 and Slackware 12.2. On certain web pages, for instance www.slackware.com, Firefox doesnt display the background image, but instead displays multiple images of the tool bar of Firefox. It doesnt matter if I change the settings to allow third part cookies or if I tell Firefox to get images automatically. When using Konqueror, the web-site(s) appear normal.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a very big image directory: One image per minute, whole a year, captured from a webcam. Now I want to make a video (15 or 24FPS) with all the webcam captures, to see how it changed during this period. I've tried automotion, but it makes a very low quality video, besides it blocks with lots of images. I've also tried dvd-slideshow, but it's not possible to make a more-than-1FPS video.
I also need to change the date in each webcam's images, because they are wrong, so it needed to overlay a little layout with the right date for each image, is that possible to manage within some application? Preferibly shell applications which supports lots of Gb of information (anyway I always could make little videos and then glue them)
Subj: this probably discussed many times, could anybody provide a link to step-by-step process. Is there a simple process rather then copy packages from disks2-6 to disk1 directories?
