I compiled and installed the Asterisk ztdummy package because there is no rpm for it, unfortunately, and i even reinstalled asterisk, but i still get the "No application 'Meetme' for extension..." error when trying to conference. I do a "module show", and it lists other modules that were compiled with the zt source, but not ztdummy.Does anyone know how to fix this? This is more than a passing interest or hobby, because i need to conference about 3 to 5 people to help me test a new Website Content Management System and User Forums Management System i am about to launch as a service.
I am trying to setup my webserver and I am trying to make a website to run under suexec but somehow I cannot start my apache it directly fails and SELinux is giving me errors and don't really know what to do with it, it is giving me some command to type but not sure if this will make my server less secure. The SELinux error is as follow:
Code: Summary: SELinux prevented httpd reading and writing access to http files.
Detailed Description: SELinux prevented httpd reading and writing access to http files. Ordinarily httpd is allowed full access to all files labeled with http file context. This machine has a tightened security policy with the httpd_unified turned off, this requires explicit labeling of all files. If a file is a cgi script it needs to be labeled with httpd_TYPE_script_exec_t in order to be executed. If it is read-only content, it needs to be labeled httpd_TYPE_content_t, it is writable content. it needs to be labeled httpd_TYPE_script_rw_t or httpd_TYPE_script_ra_t. You can use the chcon command to change these contexts. Please refer to the man page "man httpd_selinux" or FAQ [URL] "TYPE" refers to one of "sys", "user" or "staff" or potentially other script types.
Allowing Access: Changing the "httpd_unified" boolean to true will allow this access: "setsebool -P httpd_unified=1"
Fix Command: setsebool -P httpd_unified=1
I will write down how I did setup my server so maybe you can see a mistake I did. First I changed my Apache httpd.conf I added the following to it: Code: NameVirtualHost 192.168.1.2:80 <VirtualHost 192.168.1.2:80> ServerName localhost DocumentRoot /var/www/html DirectoryIndex index.html index.html index.shtml index.php </VirtualHost>
Then I created the username "ulyaoth" with the group "ulyaoth" as I specified with my suexec, then I created all the directories as specified in my httpd.conf and "chown ulyaoth:ulyaoth (dirname)" them to the right group and username.
i just had to switch from 10 to 11 until 12 comes out, and after setting up asterisk, i noticed VERY VERY BAD sound quality, mostly comprised of severe jittering. I noticed that the way Fedora lets you work with your sound devices in 11 is way different (nicer, but obviously not complete) than ever before, and i am using the same asterisk configs as before, so i'm positive that this is NOT an asterisk issue, and does NOT really belong in this forum; however, only asterisk users will be able to replicate or identify with this issue.
Have any of you 11 users had this happen to you, and if so, did you figure out how to solve it? I'm sure that i can *try* adjusting asterisks jitter buffer settings, but like i said, it was NEVER an issue before 11... Another clue would be that i cannot get crap like gtk-recordmydesktop to produce sound (but that may very well be another issue; however i doubt it)...
I installed Nagios on my Ubuntu 10.04 server using apt-get and when I accessed the web console, everything was OK. I made some changes to apache (creating some new virtual sites) and since then Nagios gives me a warning message for HTTP with the message, HTTP WARNING: HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found. The sites that I created are working perfectly. I noticed that the attemps are 4/4. Does this need to be reset or does Nagios automatically reset that once it detects the issue is resolved?
I am using debian squeeze server with asterisk 1.6 installed and configured.my problem is non root users need to access the server using ssh and restart asterisk server after making changes in asterisk configuration files. As of now i am giving root username/password for this process (i know it is not at all a good idea) .now how can i create a username and configure it which can only access and modify asterisk configuration files and restart asterisk server without any other privileges.
I have a server (fedora 11 , LAMP). I want to know if I can upload something to my server via http (I mean from WAN),and this data stream can directly run into MySQL database . Do I need to write some special codes on my web page , or just change apache's configure file
I've got an old laptop with F15 installed. I want to use it together with two usb-webcams to monitor my wood boiler in the basement. And I want to stream it via http. I tried zoneminder and it didn't found my cheap cams. I tried vlc but it didn't work that well. Are there any other options to put out the streams on a webpage? I am trying to edit my http configuration (menu System -> Administration -> Server Settings -> HTTP) and it seems to be impossible. My Server Name comes up empty and I want to change the default Webmaster email address root@localhost to something else, but I can't change anything. I enter mu new server name and e-mail address, but when I click on the OK button I get a popup box which asks me if I want to save and exit. I click on the Yes button, and the box disappears. HTTP Server configuration does not exit and my changes are not saved.
I just done a brand new install of fed12 and did all the yum updates. Apache seems to start ok and I always liked the http config tool but it won't run on Fedora 12. I downloaded and installed system-config-httpd.noarch 5:1.4.6-1.fc12 and it all went fine but when I try to start it I get the usual box asking for my root password, I type it in and press enter, the box disappears and then....nothing. If I run system-config-httpd in a terminal I get the same box asking for root passowrd but when I enter it I get a long scroll of text which ends with:
line 4: 2137 Aborted (core dumped) /usr/bin/python /usr/share/system-config-httpd/ApacheConf.py
I don't know what causes this. Is there any way to get the http config tool working?
It appears that my ISP is blocking port 80, so I can't set up a proper website on my home computer. I'd like to choose a different port to use (they block 443 also), and I'm not sure how to do this with Fedora (or any Linux flavor for that matter
I currently have Zarafa and I am going to install MythWeb for MythTV.To solve the permission problem for installing amportal (FreePBX), I have to change Apache's user and group to Asterisk instead of this, which I've commented out:User ${APACHE_RUN_USER}Group ${APACHE_RUN_GROUP}Once FreePBX is installed completely, I checked to make sure FreePBX is working and it worked. I used the latest version of Asterisk from the SVN trunk, so I used ./install_amp --my-svn-is-correct.However, I want to use Zarafa AND FreePBX, I just don't like having to change the Apache User and Group to asterisk. Here is a couple of examples of instructions when installing FreePBX:Is there a workaround? I really want to change it back to what it was before while FreePBX can still access their own directories.
I did not know if this question has been asked, but I thought I'd ask here. I've added "zarafa" and "mythweb" to the tags list my thread.Update: I changed my apache configuration file back to www-data for User and Group and I do have /var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin and /var/www/asterisk (where FreePBX PHP pages are installed in /var/www/asterisk) owned by asterisk:asterisk. But I get this:
Code: Retrieve conf failed to copy file(s) from a module's agi-bin dir: copy(/var/lib/asterisk/agi-bin/directory): failed to open stream: Permission denied
I need to install a program by using the address http://255.255.255.255. However, when I type this address in my browser, I get the following error: "Failed to connect. Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 255.255.255.255. Though the site seems valid, the browser was unable to establish a connection." Is there an easy way to put this site into the air?
I have 2 web server in my office : http and https. You will find attached the httpd.conf and ssl.conf. I can acces the https server from home, but not the http one.
What I did : configure the router to forward port 80 to my fedora 11 machine open port 80 with system-config-network created a virtualhost
The same exact steps have been done for port 443
I can access both server locally but only the https server remotelly.
Here are my iptables :
Code:
you can try to acces my servers using [url]
I made httpd to listen to port 8080, and done all the port forwarding/opening stuf, and it works. so is it a bug ?
Finally found my error seams like turning off UseCanonicalName to off did the trick
I really think it's a bug now. It was definitively working last week, I just added content to the main host of my website, and now i can't acces it from port 80. If someone think it's not a bug or find someting missing/wrong in my conf file.
I've grown accustomed to using konqueror, and i like it's speed. Firefox on kde is slightly sluggish and consumes much more memory. If i type a website address in konqueror, for example, Google, it comes up with an error message. It expects me to put in Google. Is there any way to make this default in konqueror? For example, in firefox i just type in google or Google.
i am using RHEL5 at VirtualBox,at the time of installation i did create two partition one for / and another for swap. Now my /var directory is taking too much space and i decided to create a new partition with required size and mount that partition to /var.Now http service wont start and i did not reboot yet.
I want to authenticate and authorize for SiP user of my * box, it is my project, but i did not finish it, hic hic! My asterisk box is version 1.6.0, fedora 10.the first, i downed and installed freeradius to my computer, and run "radiusd -X", it's run normally. Then, I installed radiusclient-ng0.5.6, it's rpm file. All is perfect. But the problem is i can't run asterisk box as radiusclient.
Brand new network, just installed, all ubuntu 9.10 boxes connected to a Dell 2206 dumb gigabit switch, and from there to Dlink router to cable modem. Pretty simple. ISP confirms great link out and inbound,
However, http requests can sit for 20-30 seconds (sometimes longer), before content returns, same for pings.
Some thought it might be MTU-related. What is best MTU setting 1500/1492/ ?
I have collected a number of computers over the years, and now I would like to put them to good use. I considered UEC, but many do not support hardware virtualization and all I really need is storage. Over all the machines, I estimate that I have 4-5 terabytes of storage, all going to waste because each one has relatively low storage space. Is there any way I could setup a redundant storage solution that utilities these machines in a networked system?
I have Ubuntu Server (x64) installed on my box with Apache2 and Squid. For awahile port 80 (http) was fine, I could update packages and use wget. Then one random day port 80 became blocked for incoming traffic. I couldn't use apt-get and had to change to an ftp mirror to update. Also wget is not working.
