I scanned pen drive using clamscan and I closed the terminal after scanning without reading the result. Now one of my folder is missing in pen drive. I wanted to know if clamav deleted it. So I want to view the last scan result.

klamav KDE doesn't work. It won't download updates. So, I want to make a one-click scan. I'v been using shell installers from nvidia. I know the sequence I use in the terminal to get it running. There should be way to do this from the desktop.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI decided to check out nautilus-clamscan, in which all it does is add an option to scan the selected file or folder for viruses in the context menu, and while it works fine for some things highlighted, for some that I've randomly tried it freezes, and won't complete scanning. using the usual method of scanning for viruses through Clamtk, it scans those files and folders just fine, so it's not those themselves that's causing the freezing.

I have been using another version of linux for long time. But recent edition of that particular linux does not support my wifi any more. Just recently i have tried SuSE and almost fell in love with it. The only problem, WIFI.
I got a Linksys WUSB54GC USB wifi stick which uses RT2800USB native driver. I installed SuSE from the scratch and it found the wifi stick installed the drivers. My only problem is it does not scan for wireless networks. I haev two wifi networks around here. I can connect to them with windows computer with the same wifi stick.
I have tried iwconfig iwlist ifup but i am stuck exactly what to do.

Just purchased this USB wifi NIC. installs and work perfect under Win XP, how ever I can't seem to get working on my opensuse 11.3
Network manager did not recognize the NIC out of the box (still doesn't) so I started trawling the forum and I've read both wireless 'stickys'.
When out of the box did not work I installed the rt3070sta-kmp-desktop - RT3070 Wireless Lan Linux Driver from the repos.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI found today that ClamTK identifies items in /usr/share/doc/nautilus-clamscan/examples folder as possible viruses. The four files in question, "clam.exe, clam.cab, clam.exe.bz2, and clam.zip" are all part of the standard file list in packages.ubuntu.com. None are marked as executable, but are identified as binary files by less. Any ideas why these files are here or what they do, besides generate false warnings?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI installed squeeze on my eeepc 1015ped and downloaded the correct firmware-brcm80211 drivers but every time I scan for my network using iwconfig wlan0 scan or wicd, my computer completely freezes. I previously had a solid install running xmonad, and wicd was working like a charm (using the same broadcom driver) but i tinkered too much with it and decided to do a fresh install. I haven't quite run into a problem like this before.

But, when I test to send 2 messages from outside to my server, the report from mailgraph and pflogsumm is different. To avoid pflogsumm count twice from amavis, I have combine pflogsumm with preflog. And the result like this .

Just in the last two days evince, empathy, and eclipse have closed randomly. Since I use eclipse constantly and as a result it's been crashing the most I went ahead and started it from the command line. Here's the output I get when eclipse closes:

it appears to have something to do with the "decorator," but disabling compiz all together doesn't fix it. I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 64-bit. The issue seems to have started shortly after installing a triple-core processor - but I'm not sure that's related.

After I restart snort and I tied 2 pc by cross cable (192.168.1.20 for windows and the victim is 192.168.1.21 for Linux where the snort is installed), my HOME_NET 192.168.1.21 and the EXTEREL_NET !$HOME_NET. The problem is when I run:
snort -dvi eth0 -c /etc/snort/snort.conf
I see the packet transmitted and received (the received conten "abcdefgh" ), when I stopped snort CTRL+C I don't found any alert in the result!!! Run time prior to being shutdown was 218.523030 seconds.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI really am a great fan of Songbird, but there's one thing that keeps annoying me: searching my music collection. I have about 12k songs (67GB) in my library, and using the search bar is pretty much a disaster: whatever I type it takes ages to come up with something, and if I delete any of the written to enter something new it hangs for like five minutes. This sort of forced me to look for specific songs myself or just keep it going on shuffle, none of which is a good solution.
I believe the problem is that songbird searches after every single typed character instead of waiting until I'm finished, which is a cool feature with smaller amounts of data to look through, but in my case it's just annoying and pointless. How to disable this feature? I am using Songbird 1.2.0, Build 1146.
