I was trying to install and configure freeradius server in centos 5.5 .I installed freeradius 2.1.7. I added a sigle line at the top of the users file like this. bob Cleartext-Password := "hello". when I tried to test using radtest command (radtest bob hello 127.0.0.1 0 testing123).but Igot access-reject mesage from radius server. first I was trying on the same pc with defferent terminal. I serched and tried lot of options but all the time I got the same access reject message. I put debug message in debug site. I can see lot of users posted the same error message in many forums. But I cant find any solutions. I installed ntradping in my laptop and tried but same error. Delaying reject of request 0 for 1 seconds. Going to the next request. Waking up in 0.9 seconds. Sending delayed reject for request 0. Sending Access-Reject of id 16 to 10.10.204.73 port 1619. Waking up in 4.9 seconds. Cleaning up request 0 ID 16 with timestamp +3. Ready to process requests.

I'm currently trying to set up FreeRADIUS with DaloRADIUS and I'm stuck at FreeRADIUS getting clients (as NAS-es) from the MySQL database.
FreeRADIUS will no longer start after uncommenting the following line in my /etc/freeradius/sql.conf (which is supposed to let it use the MySQL database):

I have ran "freeradius -X" to find out what's going on with this output:

So it seems that the radius user is not authenticated. However I have verified that the login details I entered in my sql.conf are the correct ones (I even tried manually logging in with them and it worked).
Could anyone send me a good how to for freeradius with mysql authentication and daloRadius?

I would like to optimize the tables and back up the sql file. I just need to turn it on for a bit, and then enable mod_proxy again.Right now, if I got to localhost/phpmyadmin, it redirects to the main application.

I erased Windows a week ago and is loving Ubuntu 10.04 (which changed to xubuntu after installing Qimo for Kids??) ever since. View 1 Replies View RelatedWe started our project (it's a website "employee performance appraisal system") in windows by starting with some html forms and then slowlyadded php ,javascript and other stuff in windows we had no issues of insertion and retrieval of data from thedatabase.Now,we decided to shift the entire stuff to drupal the html forms along with those php files but we had 2 issues with this1. the first one was ..we created "page" for each html form and copied the html code into "page" but we didn't find where our pages are getting stored (do they get stored in mysql database that we create for drupal siter do they remain as html pages somwhere?)2.second problem was ...for admin in drupal I gave the username "root" and a password ..similarly for mysql also I gave a password.

One server is a dedicated MySQL server. After upgrading that one to Ubuntu 10.04 (from an ancient Suse 9.2), both servers are running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.I have another server that I use to administer the database server via phpMyAdmin. However since the upgrade it is not able to connect. I get an error #1130 Cannot log in to the MySQL server. The same happens if I try to connect remotely from the command line with: mysql -u root -h 129.79.137.121 -pI'm not sure if this is an iptables/ports problem or a configuration problem on the MySQL end or something else entirely.I've searched and tried the suggestions I've found in various places but none seems to have fixed it.

WinXP Host
Ubuntu 10.04 is the guest
Mysql is installed in ubuntu and it works fine in the guest (ubuntu)
Internet works fine in the host and the guest. Bridged Network.
Now, here is the thing... i want to access mysql from my host to load some data into it.

I can not access my MySQL database from any remote host on my home network, I keep getting "Access denied for user 'dbuser'@'192.168.1.10' (using password: YES)"
From what I've read this seems to be a permission problem, I tried
'dbuser'@localhost';
'dbuser'@'%';
'dbuser'@'192.168.1.10';
and between each change of permission, I've flushed privileges.

I set up a servber on my local machine, & also PHp - Both working fine.I'm trying to load up MYSQL i have installed it, & *can* start/stop the server. however if I do anything else with it, I get this error :-

I have installed Mysql in Ubuntu 9, for the use of roundcube database.After installing iam getting the error like this

I am trying to get mysql to start at boot without any success.
The mysqld scripts works fine when run from the command line, but it does not work when i use the links created by chkconfig. I checked the boot.log and found that mysql starts but then it stops or gets shutdown. This is the log message:

I'm having a problem with my webdav share. I have a secure webdav folder that gets accessed via a non-standard port and requires basic authentication. I can connect and interact with it fine via cadaver. However, when I try to connect from nautilus, it says "Access was denied." To make it even stranger, sometimes I can click on the folder in nautilus (it still mounts) and access it. Sometimes not (just repeats the error message and won't show me the contents). I may not even un-mount it, but just look at other folder, then click it again and be able to access it, but again - only rarely.
I asked a friend to try connecting from his windows vista computer and it would not work. It would not work from my windows XP virtual computer either. However, it mounts and works just find from my work computer (also Windows XP).
So it seems to be a 50/50 chance that the drive will mount on any given computer/system and work. Do anyone know what the problem may be? I'm guessing user permissions, but I can't figure out what.
I've made sure the webdav folder is owned by www-data and www-data has read access to the password file as well.
When I try connecting from nautilus, I get this in the log file:

I've tried accessing mysql with skip grant tables disabling the need for a password so I could reset my root password. I am trying to get the talked about Unity netbook shell through my Lucid installation. When i add the repository Code: ppa:canonical-dx-team/une i am offered a list of packages for upgrade which system says is also a partial upgrade. I know i should not be accepting a partial upgrade since it runs the risk of breaking my Lucid install itself - so i have not. How do i not reject these partial upgrades due to the repo addition & still install Unity?

Firefox keeps asking if I want to open index.php with KWrite, it also occasionally asks this when I am on other sites. Konqueror gives an immediate timeout error.
