I'm trying to install kmplayer-0.10.0c and im using Fedora 9. when i tried to install the kmplayer-0.10.0c using the command ./configure i received this error msg "The important program kde-config was not found!. Please check whether you installed KDE correctly." Kindly help how to solve this error msg.

I'm trying to install "ktranslator-0.4" on my slackware64-13.0. When I type in ./configure I get the following mesgs with error:

I installed fedora 11 and configured xdsl(pppoe). I then performed an upgrade and installed some apps. Internet still worked before the restart.After that even though i could activate the device, i cannot view websites. I get a server not found error message. I have tried using both firefox and konqueror. Internet works in windowsIs this due to the upgrade? If so which upgrade would have caused the error?How do i resolve it

View 4 Replies View RelatedI installed tinyos-2.x in Ubuntu lucid. I tried to simulate tossim environment for simple Blink application using the command: make micaz sim and ended up with the following error:

and
Python.h: No such file or directory
and
make: *** [sim-exe] Error 1
Eventually installed python-old-doctools package which supposedly includes python2.5-config package but alas! It doesn't compile yet.

For the most part is has worked w/o incident i.e. until recently when the UPS battery failed on my APC backups xs 1500 lcd. I could not view the multimon.cgi file via the localhost or 127.0.0.1 url e.g.: [URL]... I'd get 404 page not found message. After checking links here and on the web, I tried: [URL]... The page is displayed. From this discovery, I'm not sure that this is a web server configuration or a network host configuration issue or what. I'm running Lucid with all updates, no mods to lighttpd except I added the mod_fastcgi line to the lighttpd.conf file

I have just installed Debian 8 with Gnome desktop and trying to add my username to sudoers list.
When I open terminal and enter visudo I get the following error message...

I think it's a driver issue but Its not as easy as ubuntu was lspci:

I've been trying to install the gmagick extension for days now without success. I always end up with the same error message:

It's no wonder why I get this message as the location simply does not exists, its being unpacked to 'gmagick-1.0.3b2' and not 'gmagick'. I've tried to copy/paste the configuration file (config.m4?) to my manually created 'gmagick' directory within the temp folder but that didn't solve anything.

I have the newest version of opensuse dual booting on my computer because I will be writing and running some molecular simulation programs this year on a computer cluster at the university and the computers on the cluster are using eclipse and opensuse so I wanted to have these set up at home so I could work at home a bit.
Anyway, I downloaded the eclipse indigo IDE for c/c++ for linux of the eclipse website and extracted it to my home/user directory. Whenever I try to run a program in eclipse I get a "Binaries not found" error. I installed the c/c++ development tools in Yast and also installed gcc and make thru zypper in the terminal. What is causing this problem? I've looked on forums and tried to fix this for the last couple days and I feel like i've tried everything.
