General :: Remove The Stations Under Exailes Shoutcast Tab?
May 28, 2010
i've recently got bored of rhythmbox and i am now using exaile on ubuntu 10.04, i want to remove most of the stations from the shoutcast tab as i only listen to the hardstyle ones and some of the rock ones.
if any can share some light on this i would be very grateful, i have searched my filesystem for possible ways but all i get when searching for exaile is .pyc an .py files (i don't know about programming)
genre breakout with shoutcast stations.today no radio.ran in terminal did reinstall, remove/ install in synaptic; still no go.upgraded exaile to 0.3.2.0; still no go.did do automated system update today.
I have a server with installed and configured netatalk - Mac OS X users can upload and dwonload files and everything works. Now I want to solve reverse problem - how to view Mac OS X 10.5.4-10.5.5 shares from CentOS 5.4 PC.
I've running Squeeze 64bit and most multimedia is working. but when I try to get live streaming stations to play in Streamtuner, Rhythmbox, or Exaile, nothing comes in. What is needed to allow radio streams to play?
Just noticed yesterday, don't know how long this has been going on. BUT I won't seem to be able to use any other workstation except number 1. It won't let me move applications between workstations.
I just installed OpenSuse 11.2 KDE on my Macbook and try as I might, I cannot get used to Amarok. I like Banshee and it's simple interface, plus the way it handles radio stations and the like.
I did install it using YaST and I am able to run it, but I am unable to add internet radio stations and also I am unable to play them (and other MP3 files) if I manually connect to the stream. As far as adding radio stations, I am unable to because the Genre box stays grayed out and the Save button stays grayed out because the Genre box has not been filled in (but I can't because it's grayed out). As far as playing MP3s, Banshee says I need a codec and when i click 'Search' for a suitable codec, it takes me to an OpenSuse download page with the decoder there but it's for OpenSuse 10.3, not 11.2.
These are probably simple problems with simple solutions but I can't seem to figure them out. Also, K3B says the MP3 Decoder is missing as well. I'm sure it is related to the Banshee problem too.
i'm getting no audio from online streaming like radio stations etc. videos such as videos and the like seem to be fine though. i presume i'm missing some package which is in synaptic.
I am trying to stream a video between two Ubuntu 9.04 stations using GStreamer. The following code is run on the emitting machine: Code: gst-launch videotestsrc ! queue ! ffenc_mjpeg ! udpsink port=5000 host=192.168.1.100 -v And the following on the receiving machine with IP 192.168.1.100: Code: gst-launch udpsrc port=5000 caps="image/jpeg, width=320, height=240, framerate=30/1" ! queue ! ffdec_mjpeg ! ximagesink sync=true -v Whatever the order I'm running them (emit first or receive first), I'm getting the following error once both are connected (I can see the Ethernet lights blinking):
ERROR*: element /GstPipelineipeline0/GstUDPSrc:udpsrc0*: internal error data flow. gstbasesrc.c(245: gst_base_src_loop (): /GstPipelineipeline/GstUDPSrc:udpsrc0: streaming task paused, reason not-negotiated (-4) Execution ended after 3191625000 ns.
I have shotucast server on my debian server it works perfect, but i can't get shoutcast information on web i'm using PHP script With script everything is OK. With shoutcast to. But i don't understand, why my php script is showing server is off
there is a program on the shoutcast website called sc_trans which can be configured fairly easily to transmit a playlist via shoutcast. However, it seems to require a set playlist, and there is no easy and reliable way to tell it one song after the other what it should play (say, to get it to play whatever I am playing in Rhythmbox if I were to write a program to do that). So the question I have is this: Is there an alternative (preferably open source) shoutcast transmission library that I can use instead?
I have just installed shoutcast server on my linux centos5 server and i know the command to start the server is ./sc_serv but what is the command to stop the server ?
Is there an Ubuntu program that gives access to Internet radio stations like iTunes?
iTunes radio setting on Mac has hundreds or thousands of internet radio stations that the user can select from and listen to. Is there such an app for Ubuntu? That would be easier than finding all their web sites and bookmarking them.
I want to install a ShoutCast Server on Ubuntu, but I coudn't decide qualities of the server. I am planning to have 5,000 listeners continuously with 32kbs bit-rate. How would be usage of CPU and RAM ? I have 99MBit bandwidth, I think it is enough.
Yes I know there was so many themes created about broadcasting shoutcast radio, but I wasn't got information where program work good. I have tried IDJC, but not work. I need the program that I just install it and works. Program should have 2 audio players (1 is good too) and microphone "player" for talking (key OFF/ON).
I'm trying to connect idjc to a shoutcast server which is running on a web server (i'm not trying to use a local instance of shoutcast), while idjc is running on my computer.
In the sc_serv.conf file as SrcIP I use ANY, cause I thought I was trying to access the server from another machine.
idjc gives me this output (in a terminal) when I try to connect with the web server code...
I use shoutcast to select streaming audio stations to play, depending on mood, whim, whatever.when I click on 'tune in' next to the audio station, rhythmbox pops up....and that's that. I would expect it to just start playing the station. If I select 'Radio' in rhythmbox's upper left panel, and -then- click 'tune in' on the shoutcast page next to the station I want, there's an entry made in the playist at that time, but then there's an error popup says: Couldn't Start Playback You do not have a decoder installed to handle this file. You might need to install the necessary plugins. Which is surprising. It's a shoutcast stream. It should just play. But anyway, I guess something didn't get installed in the default install.
We liked the idea to broadcast-stream live for our fellow students. Firstly we thought to start with music and then continue with interviews. If we cannot make it live, then we can play a recorded interview.
As I saw, both are playing with winamp for windows. Is there something helpful for playing with openSUSE (or linux in general)?
You'll tell me that most of my friends use windows, why now use their? I just wanted to make it open source and try to play some CC music first (like jamendo).
I would like to code a program that can play the shoutcast, eventally with lirc and sure without any X (command line). Is there a way to retrieve all those streams from their shoutcast website? I noted that the daily headlines availabe in each country arent there.
i am trying to list radio channels in Tunapie2 and it won't list anything. It will display TV stations, but not radio.
I removed the software and Re-installed it with the same problem. I even removed most files from my .tunapie folder under my home and just left prefs and favorites alone. I did this before re-installing the software.
