I installed Nautilus-actions, in order to set up some right-click scripts. However, when I click on "nautilus actions configurations" from within the system preferences menu, I receive the following error...
"Duplicate object id 'label1' on line 1000 (previously on line 940)".
I've been trying out Nautilus-actions (Gnome 2.28.4), but have been unable to import most config files from [url].
When I attempt to import an action, it complains:

So far, the only one that has worked for me is "Move to custom folder" [url].
I am installing lucid, have installed nautilus-actions, and am trying to install a "Search for file in the active folder" function into nautilus-actions.. I brought up Nautilus Actions Configuration under System>Preferences and did the following:
Under Action tab
Checked Display item in selection context menu
Unchecked Display item in location context menu
Label: Search For File In Active Folder

when I right click a folder and select "Search For File in Active Folder, it brings up the search tool, but the folder setting is always my home folder--not the active folder. Of course I can change the folder to be searched, but the point was to search in the active folder. I got this Search For File in Active Folder function from an Internet site that I don't remember. However, I thought --path=%M would get me the active folder.
I'm using gnome and I'm trying to add custom actions to the right-click on desktop menu. I've read that this can be done using nautilus-actions, but all the references I've found explain it for older versions of nautilus-actions.
If I create an action (a firefox launcher, for example) and don't add any special conditions for it to show up, it shows when I right-click anything in nautilus, but not on the desktop.
I know it's possible since nautilus-open-terminal shows up on the desktop menu.
I installed nautilus-actions in order to edit the right-click menu when I click on pictures. All tutorials I read deal with adding custom entries to the right-click menu. But what I want to do, is to edit the present nautilus right click menu. In particular, I have installed nautilus-batch-rename, which comes in english. I want to translate the right-click entry "Rename files..." to German, since my system language is German, too. I already managed to translate the batch-rename pop-up program entries after clicking "rename files..." by editing nautilus-batch-rename.glade but I would love to translate "rename files..." as well.
View 2 Replies View RelatedUpon a fresh installation of Ubuntu Natty, I have noticed only a couple of my nautilus-actions are actually showing up in the context menu. On further review, I noticed Nautilus-actions has changed a lot, and I cannot seem to figure out why most of my actions are not showing up. It seems no matter what I change, they will not show up. Some of the ones I cannot seem to get up are 'Wipe' commands and several of my homemade ones that worked flawlessly in past Ubuntu versions, such as Chown, Make Executable, Renamer, among others. Oddly, two of them work just fine, Search Here and Open Root Nautilus. I am not sure why these work, while the others do not, other than they are not used by selecting item(s)/folders. Also, I noticed there is a change with the parameters, in which now all of them use %F instead of %M. Does anybody know why that is, and/or does it really matter. FYI, I am using the classic version, not Unity as my desktop.

I had troubles with my NTFS external hdd mounting without becoming root until I changed my fstab file. However after changing my fstab file I created an error in the place of the one I had fixed. Now since the change I have two entries of my external hard drive in Places. I'd like to know how to remove the duplicate entry.

or something similar. No additional help is available in the docs. So i try to use http://p.p (i.e. config.privoxy.org), and click on [URL]... expecting to get the three mode buttons. It just returns to p.p.
I already set the three edit vars to allow remote editing etc.So I looked in the top 15 Google hits for "Privoxy standard.Cautious". Apparently, nobody else knows how to do this either even tried launching firefox in root. but I'm getting kind-of frustrated with the writers/maintainers of Privoxy 3.
I'm sometimes getting a 'duplicate source' error when I update, but not always. Sometimes it's just fine, without me having changed anything significant. To be honest I don't really understand what's going on.
Here's my sources.list :

Whats with the duplicate sources referring to /var/lib...? I've never touched that directory. Ever. And why are there three 'duplicates' of testing/main when clearly I only have two in sources.list? I'm confused. Is my sources.list set up properly? Usually, running another update immediately after the first one cleans up the errors, but this keeps coming back every few days.
When I run the update manager and start updating, I get this error:

Where "surface" could be several different types, which will be set during execution. Hope this is clear enough. I have tried using templates but am getting "data member cannot be a member template". Either I have incorrect syntax, or am not implementing it right. another solution would have one class containing definitions of all possible shapes, But this would take up extra memory. Other solutions I thought of seem too round-about, and seems there is a simpler solution that I have overlooked.

I cannot run Opera. I am running a fresh install of Fedora 13 (everything updated). When I try to run Opera, it fails with this error message:

This is an Error message I am receiving through my SSH protocol while attempting to Execute a File on my Linux Server.

Currently I have a single openldap server version 2.3.32 preforming authentication on our databases as well as e-mail and other assorted programs. When we get a high volume of users, sometimes the users can not be authenticated for new e-mail sessions and what not. We have traced it back to being that our current single ldap server can not authenticate them all in a timely manner. We decided that we would put up a new ldap server and replicate the changes to it, then upgrade the older server version and replicate back to it so that both would have a current up to date copy of our configuration, and we would do a master/slave type setup.
Trying to replicate between the old server and the new server is not currently working. Here is the issue: when we try to import the schema's from the older server we get this error: slapadd: dn="cn=Domain Users,ou=Groups,dc=mydomain,dc=com" (line=247): (65) no structural object class provided I can not seem to find any information on google that shows this exact error? if this isn't detailed enough let me know what else I should post.
I am trying to create a package for Moblin using the Moblin Package creator application in Ubuntu. The RPM package gets created successfully, but when I execute that package in Moblin OS in the terminal I get the following error message: Error while loading shared libraries: libgda-4.0.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.
I understand that the above libraries are missing on my system and I need to add them. My question here is do I have to add them manually after the installation of the package or can the package itself include these libraries and copy them to proper locations when the package is installed. In case the libraries can be included in the package I want to know how that can be done.

why i am getting this error. I know the error is occuring because i have assigned values to obj.i and obj.j outside main(). But i want to know why do that result in an error. From my part i have created an object 'obj' of stucture 'test' and assigned values to its variables.
Kmix will not start any more. It might have something to do with an online update I installed last night. Here is the output from a console. I can't make any sense of it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedUbuntu's bittorrent client, Transmission, failed with the error message "Couldn't add duplicate torrent". Since this was a similar torrent to one which I had abandoned earlier I thought there might be a caching problem or some silly bug in transmission. Not knowing where Transmission stores its data I tried a quick x by completely un-installing, including configuration files, from Synaptic, and then re-installing. This did not work and the same error message appeared when trying to download the same torrent.

In order to export all the MySQL databases from the old server to the new server, I ran the following command on the old server:

The command successfully imports about half the databases, but then fails when it gets to a particular table in a database for one of our custom web applications. The error message is:

I've located that line in the dump.sql file, and as far as I can tell it's not actually a duplicate entry. I've also gone through dozens of bug reports and forum posts about an issue where this situation arises because a key is not set to auto-increment, but in this case the key is set to auto-increment.
