Feb 2, 2010I need to get TightVNC installed on RHEL 5.
I downloaded and extracted tightvnc-1.3-.10_unixsrc.tar.bz2. I have directory called vnc_unixsrc. I went into this directory and tried running xmkmf but got the kick back saying command not found. After doing some searching around looks like i need imake. So I ran yum install imake, installed imake. went back to my vnc_unixsrc directory and tried runnign xmkmf again (failed) did some more searching and looks like people recommended I reference the path to xmkmf. So, while I was in vnc_unixsrc I tried /usr/bin/xmkmf and I get:
This doesn't look right.... Lost here... should I try to execute make World next? or I do still need to figure out xmkmf first...

1. Tomcat is already running thru local, we can access anytime.

3. Tomcat is assigned thru port 8088
4. 8088 is already open (I've tried using this port thru IP camera and we successfully open it)
5. When we switch over to our tomcat we cant open the port 8088

General :: Tomcat Behind An Apache
Jan 20, 2011I am trying to set up an Apache frontend server followed by a Tomcat server. Tomcat needs to run as an https service. I will have two services, both accessible independently, if desired.This login module is a webapp, running inside Tomcat.
Question:
Do I configure the Tomcat on port 8443 (I want to run it as a non-root) and do nothing with Apache or do I run on the standard port 8080 and configure Apache?
If Tomcat, is it server.xml? (connector?)
If Apache, is it httpd.conf?
