OpenSUSE :: Click On Install Get The Following Error>>Message Did Not Receive A Reply (timeout By Message Bus)?

Im trying to instal Sun Virtualbox but when download completes and I click on install I get the following error>>Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus) I wont even bother with this software if there are others out there that are as easy to use. I used it on Windows and thought it was great ! (thats how I eventually switched to Linux, by using it virtually at first)
Since upgrading to 11.04 yesterday, nauilus has been acting strangely. It takes about 30 seconds for a right click on the desktop to respond, whereas before it would've taken 1 or 2. Also, when trying to open a directory, say, the Home direcotry accessible from the launcher,it takes about a minute to open, which is odd,because all of my other applications (Chrome, Banshee etc) ares all running smoothly. And when the direcotry windowe does open, within 10 sconds it will turn grey and prompt me to force quit. When i try to open nautilus from a terminal, it comes back with the message

I recently updated my iPod touch to the 4.2.1 firmware. So I get the usual
DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus) Error. Yes I've tried the old "sudo apt-get update;sudo apt-get dist-upgrade"
but that was to no avail. way to fix this? Now click 'back'.
when I connect my iphone (3GS, 4.3.3) to Fedora 15 it gives me this error: Unable to mount iphone DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus). The weird thing: after looking in var/log/messages it appears that it is trying to be used by NetworkManager. And when I lookin NM, i can see iPhone as an ethernet device (cable unplugged).
We are trying to create a message forwarder program that receive a message on Port A and pass it on t Port B. Also receive a message from Port C and Pass it on to Port D as follows.
It's been awhile since I posted anything which is a good sign my install has been working well and I have been able to handle most everything. However, I'm not able to handle this issue. I recently installed F11 and everything went well. But, when trying to see my other computers on the local network, I cannot. Hi I am running a fedora 10 desktop. when i send an email using evolution the message was not sent but returns a error message:"Error while performing operation.DATA command failedError: 550 Viagra SPAM - Hi in Subject" and the message did not have an attachment just plain words. what might have gone wrong for i have been using this for sometime without a problem. or what security measures should be in place to remove this viagra spamAm I infected by virus on this fedora, all my updates are up to date.
When i shutdown my SuSE 11.2 box with all current updates i have started to notice an error message.Something about failed to unmount, trying remount as read only or something like that.The trouble is its almost the very last message that appears and its not on the screen long enough to read properly.Somewhere is there a logfile that i can recover this error message from so that i can make some sort of an attempt to resolve the issue, post the whole message here in more detail?
Greetings from Greece. I tried to install opensuse 11.3 in an empty disk . Unfortunately the installation progress stops in 88% and the message error says "error copy live image to the disk". I have burn two different cd but the result is always the same.Is it a hardware problem or the cd is not correct?I had the 11.2 version in the same pc without any problem for a long time.
Using IMAP to retrieve emails in Evolution is not working correctly. Some messages are recieved, others are not. Those messages that cannot be recieved, reports the following error message: Unable to retrieve message
My son wants to install Wintendos so that he can play starcraft 2 on my new comp. But it doesn't seem to work. Every time I try to install it the install breaks down with an error message like, no boot disc/media can be found. (This is after the install has started, a couple of minutes in.) I suspect that Microsoft doesn't support usb 3.0 in their native distribution of win7, not sure though. And that my comp only has usb 3 ports. How do I check what kind of hardware my comp is packing, specially USB ports.
been a fan of openSUSE for years now and peridocially go back and forth between Suse and Windows. However, I'm still an enthusiastic amateur when it comes to this stuff. Well, I bought a netbook (Acer Aspire ONE) several months back and loved Win 7 (a first for me). However, like all Windows, they all go down the crapper. So I'm wanting to completely wipe out Windows and go all Suse on my netbook.So I downloaded KDE Live and "burned" it on my USB. BTW, the image writer that are in the directions only writes, .raw files not .iso. I had to use a third party software.I then went into my BIOS and put the USB drive first on the booting list, and then restarted. I have installed vnc-server on my CentOS 5.6 virtual machine. I can connect to it with a java web browser so it seems to be working. This is an example of the error I receive when trying to do an update via YaST, YaST2, or zypper. Basically, curl is broken. With out it functioning normally, I can't use openSUSE's update mechanism to fix my system. I have installed 11.2 from OpenSuse DVD on a clean partition. The problems I am having are: Updater Applet - it keeps trying to do the update and fails with the message: DBus error: Unable to get transaction id from packagekit. svn. I am trying to understand how to run svn client. I found installation instructions here. However, running the command zypper install subversion produces following error message: zypper: error while loading shared libraries: libzypp.so.619: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory.
I'm having an issue when I'm trying to install SuSE linux onto my desktop.I go through all the steps and everything looks okay, but when it starts to install the packages, I get an error message that basically says:kernel.desktop - unable to install, exit status 127.I have a ATI X1950 video card in the computer, as well as a AMD 64 FX CPU in the system.
Since yesterday we need to have oauth authentication to login to Twitter. I have compiled qoauth and then qwit and choqok but I'm not able to use both. I'm having issues with oauth I could'n solve. Qwit gives this message "Error while trying OAuth!" and Choqok "Authorization Error: Timeout on server".
I was about to do upgrade from 11.3 to 11.4.I was following the guide I found in opensuse's website. I was to the point where I had to disable all 11.3 repositories and add the 11.4 at that point I forgot to change my nvidia repository ( I have a g210m graphic card).
thus after the upgrade the X could not start at all. I think this was because Yast could not find the nvidia driver.
Using text mode YaSt2 I added the nvidia driver but after restart I can not see and X running. I receive an error message that the current kernel can not be loaded!!!
I also checked in command line if there is something like Sax2.. but I couldnot find anything.
I installed fresh installation of F15 and I've allways used Evolution as my mailclient. There was in older Evolution versions option "Mark message as read in X secs" I set that to zero to read emails smoothly, now I have to wait after every message that it's got "as read" and that's really annoying especially if it's automatically sent message from server that I don't really have to "check" it just click it to get it as read. I've been gone thru all the settings of current Evolution in F15 and haven't found anymore that option. Maybe there's conf file somewhere that I can put that? That "Help" page for Evolution is kinda outdated.
I've got ubuntu 9.10 installed and can access all partitions on my 3 drives except for one. When I try to access this partition I get the following error:
"Unable to mount location Message did not receive reply (timeout by message bus)"
for the record this is a 805mb partition on a 1.5TB drive.
I'm not sure what when wrong since I have a few DVDs and they all play well in my normal DVD player, I later attempt to mount it in my Ubuntu 8.10 I'm presented with the following message:

I tried to run Ubuntu One on my Lucid Lynx, however, when I want to start the Ubuntu One Client, I just receive a message from Login Keyring asking for a password:
The password you use to log in to your computer no longer matches that of your login keyring.
I haven't change my login password for a long time. It is still the same and it works.
However, when I put my current password below the keyring's message it says it is incorrect. When I try to change the password in in Accessories > Passwords and Encryption Keys it writes that the old password (my current one) is not correct.
What happens? Which password should I type there? I do not remember I set somewhere any other password than my current login one.
I'm having some trouble with my Taskbar. It's supossed to flash or blink when I receive a message (I've already configured Pidgin and I've also tried with emesene) but it just doesn't flash. I think it's something related to gnome or ubuntu config so it won't flash under any circumstance but I am not sure.
I was installing opensuse 11.2 in parallel with windows xp.but during installation suddenly power has gone and after that opensuse is giving me the error message corrupt partition.i am also not able to login in xp. so I decide to reinstall windows, I got the error saying "invalid partition table" after the first restart of windows xp installation.
I tried to use windows system recovery console and committing fixmbr and fixboot commands, but didn't work. i have 2 window partition(1 for windows and 1 for data).i do,nt want to format 2,nd partition.
How can I installed windows?My plan was first to install windows xp, then opensuse again.
I am a new user to ubuntu and I am trying to install it on an asus eeepc 4g from a usb memory stick. After I click install from the menu, I get a message saying " BusyBox v1.10.2 (Ubuntu 1:1.10.2-1ubuntu6) built-in shell (ash) Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands."
When I click help I get the list but I have no idea which command to use? I don't see any of the normal installation screens I have seen in screen shots it just goes straight to that message.
After several crashes during videos it seemed like a good idea to fsck root. Downloaded the latest systemrescuecd and ran it at boot. The error message was 'bad magic number, corrupt superblock' with a suggested command to try another superblock. That failed with the same message. Tried tune2fs to force fsck at boot and got the same message. The drive is less than 6 months old and the installed system is working more or less ok. The command I used was 'fsck.ext4 /dev/sdc2'. What am I doing wrong?
