I was one of those chomping at the bit to get F15 going, and as a result I had enabled the Rawhide repos before the F15 repos were posted. Now that the F15 repos at RPMFusion are there, I should move off Rawhide, correct? And this is as simple as removing the existing repo files from /etc/yum.repos.d and then installing the new ones from RPMFusion? No extra steps necessary?
I keep getting the following error when trying to install anything:
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://mirrors.rpmfusion.org/mirrorl...d-11&arch=i386 error was [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404: Not Found Error: Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: rpmfusion-free-updates
So this tells me the servers are down however if i put the link in FF I don't get 404.I am installing on a new box and I can't get the stuff I need.
when ever i try to install updates i get shown an error & the updates stop the error i get says "librpmio.so.0 is needed by package abrt-1.0.3-1.fc12.i686 (updates) librpm.so.0 is needed by package abrt-1.0.3-1.fc12.i686 (updates)"

I'm installing x86_64 F14 on my Lenovo T61p, but I'm missing the i686 xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-173xx-libs in rpmfusion. Am I the only one or Is there a reason?
Edit: wine 32bit and Google Earth for example need them....

I am unable to download rpmfusion-free-release-stable.noarch.rpm from [URL]. i always get a error 404 -Not found. But i am sure my internet is working fine. I tried from windows, Fedora 14 got the same error message all the time.
I noticed that in Fedora 15 Beta when you choose a minimal install then add ONLY the defaults of the "GNOME Desktop" package, you will get this error: gnome-desktop3-3.0.1-2.fc15.x86_64 has a required package:
system-backgrounds-gnome
When I look for gnome-desktop3-3.0.1-2.fc15.x86_64 it is not on any installation menu list. I prefer gnome, but installed KDE and that worked. Any ideas of getting gnome to work?
I have a tricky problem which I could soIve with a c program. I wrote one and found I didnt have gcc so I tried to install it. I was told I needed to install packages. Could using i686 and x64 versions of same package introduce problems later? Currently my system is 64bit , but some apps require i686 versions of already installed x64 packages.
I installed Fedora 12 onto my PC today and I've tried installing a set of updates and get the following
A package could not be found that allows the action to complete.

Every time I try to install my updates for the past week or so, I get this box: [URL]. If I hit yes, I get this box: [URL], and if I hit cancel, all my updates fail. How can I fix this?
After installing FC15 on my computer, I cannot boot on my windows7 due to an error 18. I installed FC on 2 new partitions I created during the installation, so I guess they moved before my window's.Is there a solution to fix this without erasing my windows partition? (at worse, I'm ok with deleting my linux partitions for I haven't done anything with it yet).
My father and I wanted to learn how to use linux better so we opted to go with freespire. well, without my knowing my dad partioned the harddrive of the computer off (34g NTFS with windows installed) and the rest of our 80g hardrive for freespire. Well in an attempts to remove freespire I deleted the partion and formated it to NTFS and now I get the grub error 22. I can not opt to boot into windows. It goes to the error screen immeditaly after post. I can however boot from cd/floppy and I am currently running freespire off the disk. I would like to out right remove freespire for the time being (untill Im more well learned) and simply have a second partion avalable. also, prior to my foolish act of deleting and reformating the freespire partition windows did not see any other partition.
Today was an update for the xine-lib-extras-freeworld, version 1.1.16.3. My current version is 1.1.16.2 Kpackagekit and Yum both give an error message when trying to update:

I just installed Fedora15 on my laptop. When the installation completed, the system rebooted and gave me a Grub Error 17. I logged in the rescue mode and got the following output from
