I am trying to change the ubuntu logo that appears before the applications tab on the top left corner. I tried the different ways I found on google but none of them work, can someone direct me and /or tell me how I can do this?

i have been trying to change the menu logo icon with the ubuntutweak option.. after i load the 24x24 png image the panel reloads but the image doesnt change... how do i change it? now the menu icon doesnt open the menu at first click, i have to click on it a couple of times and then it opens

Tried to add the main menu item back to the menu panel but it is grayed out in the Add Panel dialog.

But I have been suffering forever over how to change the image that is in the login box, directly above my name. I want it to show an Ubuntu or Gnome logo, but right now it just shows a blue box. I have a Compaq Presario CQ60 with Nvidia GeForce 8200M graphics card. When I first installed Windows 7 followed by Karmic in dual boot I could boot into both OS. Now when I try to boot into Windows, it displays the Windows logo and then drops back to the grub menu. It may have started happening after Windows 7 installed updates. I tried reinstalling both Windows and Karmic again and it again worked initially but now Windows no longer boots. Does anyone have any suggestions about what may be causing this or how I can fix the problem without reinstalling?

If I remove other buttons from the menu the space is immediately replaced by more Log Out Buttons.When I hover on the icon I get the message 'Log out of this session to log in as a different user' and when I right-cllick to click on 'Remove from Panel' or 'Move' nothing happens.It is not possible to right-click on another part of the menu bar to change the Menu Properties.

This is a bit of an odd problem that's been happening to me recently. My home folder is a version of Fedora old, I've been using the same one between Fedora 11 and 12 (which I'm now using).
When booting up, I notice that my system fonts are not the ones I have manually set. They're the ugly version, whatever exact font it is. It's only when I select System->Appearances from the menu that the system seems to detect my seletions to use Liberation fonts in all areas, and then everything instantly switches to the more visually pleasing Liberation fonts. This is a strange bug, I was wondering if anyone has experienced this or can point me in the right direction?
I'm running Ubuntu 10.4 with KDE. I have a keyboard with two Windows keys.Now, in a perfect world I would map the left Windows key to the K-Menu and the right one to that run-panel (or whatever it's called).I switched to Linux a few weeks ago, mainly because it seems like a lot of at least near-perfect things are possible on it. So far I've managed to remap my Windows keys to F13 (left) and F14 (right). But how do I bind them to the K-Menu and that little run-panel (the one you open with <Alt>F2) respectively?

If it's possible to change it from Applications to Apps. I tried using the Main Menu software but it only seem to work with the sub menus/applications.
