Red Hat / Fedora :: Transaction Error While Updating My 15-GPG Key Retrieval Failed

I'm using fedora 15, when I updated the os through software update application in it, I got an error as shown in the figure. Actually I had installed some missing plugins and I set up free and non-free rpm repository through the kernel, based on the information given on the below site.! Personal Fedora 15 Installation Guide. Guess that might have done some damages to the RPM Fusion non-free repository.!
It has been working until this. I shouldn't think that I need both the 586 and the 64 versions, but it won't let me get rid of the 586 version. Trying to do that results in:

I installed fedora 12 today...installation went fine. Tried to run the software update ( which includes 415 fixes) and got the following

I have unchecked the box in the update list to be installed, but the software update insists that this update is needed. I cannot progress any further than this error message..

I need to uninstall kde fom pacman so I do this: When I go to "pacman -R kde" it says "checking dependencies" Then "error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies) ":: kdeplasma-addons-libs: requires kdebase-workspace" So how do I fix this so that I can uninstall kde?

I'm not sure what to do. I can add --skip-broken but that's not going to solve the problem. uname = Linux 2.6.35.13-92.fc14.i686. I'm guessing it's because I'm -92 and it's wanting -95 but if that's the case - where's my yum'ed 95?

I had this issue with Fedora Core 13, so I switched my laptop back to OpenSuse and continued to have the problem. I can do a host lookup for software.opensuse.com and I get a correct response ... I've seen others here post queries about this, and I'll tell you what it was in my case: our DSL modem's DHCP server returns its own IPV4 address as the DNS server. When I looked at /etc/resolve.conf, I saw "nameserver: 192.168.50.254" on the last line -- the IPV4 address of our DSL modem. I manually inserted "nameserver" lines for our ISP's two actual DNS servers, and everything magically started working. Why this should confuse some software under Linux, but not other software, is a mystery. It also seems to be Gnome-specific (I didn't have this problem with OpenSuse 11.3 and KDE 4).
Ask if they're using Gnome, and ask them to check resolve.conf. A lot of DSL modems and home/small office routers return their own IP address (i.e., the same as the gateway address) for the DNS server on a DHCP query. The solution is to manually edit resolve.conf and put in your ISP's DNS server addresses manually. Incidentally, just my opinion, but Network Manager needs to make this an option. Under Windows, for example, you can select "automatically assign DNS" or you can enter them manually, even if you're using DHCP. It'd be nice if Network Manager permitted that.
I upgraded my ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10 after its release. It was working fine. But today I saw its giving an error while upgrading. I am not very much efficient in ubuntu so cant understand why this error is. It is giving as failed to download repository information. check your internet connection. But my internet is working fine.
I have fedora 12 dual boot windows/ xp on intel d845gvsr intel motherboard, intel celeron processor 2 ghz, inbuilt board graphics, 1 gb ddr1 RAM. I get this notification that updates available and when I try to download it it fails and I get the following error. Transaction error. Ok. Using Release 12 Constantine Gnome 2.28. Whenever I try to update my computer via de Software Update Manager that pops up every now and then I get an error and the Software Update fails.
The error says its a repository not found, but I am very new at this and have no clue as to where to fix this. Alongside of this, is the fact that since one of the updates is failing, the rest don't install either. So the updates keep on piling.

When upgrading from fedora 10 to fedora 12 (after reboot and during installation) I get the error message as - Error running transaction - you need more space on the following file systems : 23 M on /mnt/sysimage/boot
After this installation stops.
I checked /mnt , there is no folder as sysimage . Please suggest how to proceed further ?

I think I had this problem before but I don't remember what was done to correct it. I just tried to do an update and got this error message.

I'm trying to setup Flash on my Fedora 14 x86_64 machine. I originally (mistakenly) ran through the instructions for the 32-bit version (posted here [URL]). I'm now trying to complete the instructions for the 64-bit version with 32-bit wrapper. However, I run into the following error.

I switched from Ubuntu to Fedora and I'm having a little bit of trouble understanding why I cannot update my system. Fedora seems to be a little bit more complicated than Ubuntu to update and to do other things... I'm still willing to try it because it has a good reputation and good reviews so I will go ahead and give it a shot but before I do that I need to update it. I have an HP pavilion notebook dv2000. Just installed Fedora 15 and my system is telling me that I have over 700 updates! when I click on install updates I get an error:

I've been trying to update Fedora 15 for weeks. I always end up with a transaction error and the update stalls. The error reads: GPG keys listed for RPM Fusion for Fedora Rawhide-free repository are installed but they are not correct for this package. Check that the correct key urls are configured for this repository. This is far too involved for a linux newbie, I think my only option is to reformat and reinstall. This is so frustrating, there are 250 MB of updates available that I can't access.
I just downloaded OpenOffice 3.2.1 from the openoffice.org weebsite. I followed the instructions precisely and everytime ended up in the same error message - 'error: can't create transaction lock on /var/lib/rpm/.rpm.lock (Permission denied)'. I am using Fedora 13.
