this morning the updater applet shows me this error and i dont know what to do this error says

Just today I have started to repeatedly get an error popup: File '/repodata/repomd/xml' not found on medium [URL] I have not done any updates nor modified the OS in anyway in the last two weeks.

View 6 Replies View RelatedFor some reason I was trialing a SUSE 11.1 SP1 version for a while and somehow I have NO clue it attempted to change itself to a OpenSUSE 11.1 System. I have no clue what I did, please don't ask Now though I have been successful in turning into an OpenSUSE 11.2 system by changing the repositories to OpenSUSE 11.2, doing a "zypper refresh", "Zypper in Zypper", "Zypper dup -d", "Zypper dup". I also did a repair and refreshed the base packages with an OpenSUSE 11.2 DVD and that seemed to help also. The only thing it seems I can get right is that yast/yast2 give me this error: Download failed: Failed to download ./repo/repoindex.xml from https://nu.novell.com/?cookies=0&cre...NCCcredentials

What should be the correct URL. My system has taken the URL from the YAST/Software/Add-On-Product/Community Repository and now it looks like it is not valid anylonger.
I wanted to install TeamViewer (for Linux). I downloaded the RPM, but when I double-clicked on it to start the installation I got the following error: The name org.freedesktop.PackageKit was not provided by any .service files I Googled around for possible solutions but I couldn't find any. Does anyone know how to fix this error and install TeamViewer? I'm using openSUSE 11.2 with GNOME desktop.

This AMD desktop machine with this install of 11.2 has updated many times in the last few weeks. Has something changed? The update servers do respond to a ping, so they are up and apparently I have connectivity.

After some time i was able to connect to the internet and the auto update program prompted for updates. after the updates were installed more updates were prompted. but now i get an error when i try to install them. edit: the error is "PackageKit Error internal-error: Installation aborted by user " if i try it manually i get an message "access denied to ......" how can i make my system update normal?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI wasn't paying proper attention when adding a repo to yast and need to find the file were the info is saved to delete this. The problem is that whenever i use yast it comes up with an error code saying that it can't find the data for the 'problem' repo. Have tried zypper rm but that comes up with a similar error advising that the data is in a format that was not expected. My thinking is to track the file were the yast repo source details are saved, delete this and then just add the repos that i use back.
