Sep 20, 2009I have searched the whole google but did not find anything. I am trying to install a game server using hldsupdatetool.bin which can be found here, [URL]. Unfortunately it can only run on 32bit Operating Systems. I need it to run on 64bit. What do I need to install? Please be specific since I am really new to linux. Please tell me what I exactly have to type in the command prompt.

Sep 30, 2010I have installed Opensuse 11.3 32bit on my machine. Everything works except it will not reboot or shut down. I get as far as the lizard then it stops like It does not know how to. I run su user in terminal and give init 0 command and it will shut down. but init 6 just does the same as reboot above.

When installing from the 32bit media KDE is always English afterwards but when installing from the 64bit media I will have a german KDE as expected. Changing country & language & preferred language on the 32bit does not help - still in English.

Dec 27, 2009I've recently installed from scratch Suse 11.2, and I'm having a bit of an issue with kdesu. Basically everytime I try to start an application using kdesu (e.g. Yast), the windows where to put the password appears, but when I click on OK, or I press enter nothing happens, the windows stays where it was, and of course the program does not start. The same issue occurs when I type the password to open kwalletmanager, I suppose the two things are connected.

Sep 3, 2010I'm trying to use nspluginwrapper to run 32bit Flash in Iceweasel. I need some 32bit libraries that aren't included in ia32-libs, like libnss3.so and libssl3.so. However I have no idea how to get them. I've tried aptitude install ia32-libs-libnss3 like it says on the wiki but it just tells me that it can't find ia32-libs-libnss3. I've also tried aptitude install libnss3.so but it gives me the same error. I'm running amd64 Lenny 5.0.5. What should I do?

When in the live environment can I tell which bit I am currently running.
