View 2 RepliesI recently installed Deluge 1.2.0 from the following PPA:[URL]I using this on two different Linux computers. One is running Linux Mint 8 and the other is running Ubuntu Netbook Remix 9.10. The first time on either computer when I enable WebUI in the Deluge GUI it works fine. However if I ever disable it in plugins section I am subsequently unable to re-enable it (doesn't appear in the side panel again). Rebooting or reinstalling Deluge seems to have no effect. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have installed squid 2.6 in my cent os 5 machine. The installation location was
Code:
# ./configure@--prefix=/usr/local/squid
Normally with RPM base squid,to start and stop squid we use
# service squid start
# service squid stop
Now with source code based installation the start and stop services are not working.
I have install squid 2.6 in my cent os 5 system. The proxy server is working perfect using the following method.
Code:
[root@localhost squid-2.6.STATBLE22]# ./configure@--prefix=/usr/local/squid
I want to enable delay pools feature in it.For that purpose I do as following
Code:
[root@localhost squid-2.6.STATBLE22]# ./configure --enable-delay-pools && "configuration successful"
The question is should I configure it as I do it for squid
./configure --enable-delay-pools--prefix=/usr/local/squid
To enable delay pools may I need the correction in the steps which I have taken.
[root@localhost squid-2.6.STATBLE22]#make
[root@localhost squid-2.6.STATBLE22]# make install
In short to enable delay pools may I just use
# ./configure --enable-delay-pools
then
#make
#make install
I have setup proxy server as squid Now i would like to enable High Availability between two squid proxy servers acting as one.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI just 'yum installed' php and php-pgsql.I appear to have weak search-foo and cannot figure out how to enable php in apache ( the nifty php-info page does not appear, just the hello and world I put into the file before and after the php-info call ). My intent is to be able to use phpPgAdmin. So I will also need to enable the php-pgsql shared object. I need to add to httpd.conf and any other initialization that I need to do?

I'm sure that I could enable the functions of compiz when I used fedora 11 and Fedora 12-beta on my laptop before.Besides, when I represent my slides, I can not see my screen on my laptop any more. It's dark. When I used Fedora 12-beta, I can see my screen and another screen for my representation. Is my Fedora lack of some necessary packages? Is it necessary to reinstall the VGA driver? How can I do?

I have in /etc/selinux/config:

Do I have MLS enabled? I can't use Selinux commands. I thought MLS is sort of package to Selinux. I fallowed this:

Is it possible to temporarily enable all repos from within the command line? It would be useful when searching for packages. ie yum enablerepo=* search tint2 (which doesn't work btw!)

View 2 Replies View Relatedhow to disable gstreamer???? (and be able to re-enable it also?) i don't want to totally remove gstreamer - as it is required by alot of software. however, when i am using
proaudio apps with low-latency having gstreamer enabled is a problem. this is because ( i think ) that my crappy intel-hda (STAC9200) only has one sub-device, while many other cards have multiple.
so when gstreamer is there, i will get more xruns, and a nasty message in dmesg, something along the lines of "intel-hda switching to polling mode". overall performance of the card will suck. BUT! if gstreamer is NOT there, i can run low-latency(2ms) with pretty much no xruns(jackd). the only time i get the odd one is if i am switching drum banks in a wine VST.
well, i remove pulseaudio when i install Fedora, gstreamer doesn't work properly after that, you can't use rhythmbox, or anything. but you will get much better latencies and generally the card is very useful. ie: i can manipulate many sounds/samples/synths in realtime, or actually record in ardour with a decent load...
