The basic outline of my problem is I create a class object as a local within a swing button function it works fine. If I create it as a global ( with I think I need to do ) within main, then prototype it with the other swing objects at the bottom of the file when it is called it causes a host of problems. Some time ago I replaced OpenJDK with SunJDK.
java -version is "1.6.0_24"
which java is /usr/bin/java
Yesterday, for the first time, I downloaded and ran an Avast! scan. It complains of "Malware-gen" in several class files in what I think is the java cache. Does anyone know how this could be?

when i do java -version it's work fine.
Also if i want to know that what shell i am using how can i find it.Also what is the command for showing class path variables or how can i see my JAVA_HOME class path.Means after setting the class path for above two files how can i see that these files have added.
When i write echo $CLASSPATH or echo $JAVA_HOME it shows nothing no error but again shows the prompt.
One thing more i want to run a java program on Linux it is in a package (named asteriskproject). It consist of 10 java files. I have run this program on windows using netbeans IDE.For this program i need to set my Linux class path for the above mentioned files, and this is my first time that i am running any program on Linux. So i want to ask how can i run my program. Simply put this asteriskproject directory in any folder and run the main file using javac. Is it right way to run the program that consist of package ?

I also tried jar uf, which is also not working for me Basically my jar file requires to update date, which i do from "winrar" Manual it works fine, but now to remove "Donkey work", i want to make an script which does this all automatically, and the last stage is to update jar file which is not happening.

Slackware :: Installing Java Error - When Trying To Run A Java App With The Firefox Plugin - Browser Crashe

That's the error I get. When trying to run a java app with the firefox plugin, the browser simply crashes if it's the 64bit java or tells me it's not installed if it's the 32bit version.
I'm at a loss as to what to do. I think it has something to do with leftover gunk from a previous version I misinstalled(Is that even a word?) Anyway, the only thing that google could come up with was a solution for windows which laid blame on Bill Gates for having a bunch of pf (java prefetch) files stuffed into c:windows for no apparent reason. The solution was to delete them, but I can't seem to find the java prefetch folder in linux. The method I used is downloading the rpm from java.com the rpm2tgz then installpkg then cp libnpjp2.so to firefox plugins folder.

Aug 17, 2010Currently I have a single openldap server version 2.3.32 preforming authentication on our databases as well as e-mail and other assorted programs. When we get a high volume of users, sometimes the users can not be authenticated for new e-mail sessions and what not. We have traced it back to being that our current single ldap server can not authenticate them all in a timely manner. We decided that we would put up a new ldap server and replicate the changes to it, then upgrade the older server version and replicate back to it so that both would have a current up to date copy of our configuration, and we would do a master/slave type setup.
Trying to replicate between the old server and the new server is not currently working. Here is the issue: when we try to import the schema's from the older server we get this error: slapadd: dn="cn=Domain Users,ou=Groups,dc=mydomain,dc=com" (line=247): (65) no structural object class provided I can not seem to find any information on google that shows this exact error? if this isn't detailed enough let me know what else I should post.
