When I reload my synaptic manager I get this error:
"Could not download all repository indexes in ubuntu 9.04 Could not download all repository indexes".
Here's how my sources.list file reads: .....
I am trying to update my system using synaptic but it always end with the error while reloading the package lists

I am using Debian squeeze amd64 gnome 2.30.2

whenever i tried to open Synaptic package Manager the following messages shows:
E: Type '.net/tualatrix/ppa/ubuntu' is not known on line 2 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/tualatrix-ppa-maverick.list
E: The list of sources could not be read.
Go to the repository dialog to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
Ubuntu Software Center, Update Manager, Synaptic package Manager all are jammed and indicates the same error. Except these everything works perfectly.
When i run Synaptic Package Manager.I have an errorE: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

When I click on 'Install Updates' it appears to go through the process, and then presents me with the same 'waiting to install' window again - and again, and again - in fact as many times as I care to click the 'Install Updates' button. No error messages appear. The 'Settings' button produces the same apparent process as the 'Install Updates' button, but doesn't present me with any other screen.

Got Karmic Koala up on running on my main computer and have been going through Beginning Ubuntu Linux, Fourth Edition. It was printed during Jaunty Jackalope, but it looks like its information applies to most areas.
However, it says I should be able to find msttcorefonts in the Synaptic Package Manage, and it's not there. I double checked Writer and Times New Roman and the other true type staples are not there, so it's not that it was installed with the boot disk.
Has the name of the package changed?
