All the emails I send from my linux server end up in the recipient's spam folder....Although I have tried many howtos etc and checked all blacklists... It doesn't work...

I am using CentOS 5.3. I was half way through that and got an email that had ***SPAM*** in the subject. Haven't received any more. First of all I want to know if spam will still get delivered, and just have a modified subject. Second, I want to know how to set it up so Spam goes to a user's spam mailbox (Virtual Users). And third of all, is it possible to disable spam filtering on a user basis, preferably using MySQL tables? Is it possible for users to mark a message as spam, and all further messages sent from that address will be sent to spam folder but only for that user?
EDIT: Yes spam is getting delivered with a modified header, on the server site, how can i deliver to spam folder? how to create IMAP virtual mailboxes on request without having to send an email to them first? Using virtual users with Courier Imap
After installing postfix on my server , all emails sent by a PHP class that i built , are received to spam folder , no matter what i do .am not an expert , except in PHP , the class i built works fine everywhere else except on this server , so i think the problem might be from the server it self ?some told me wrong configuration/software on my server , others told me wrong DNS stuff . actually i don't understand the DNS stuff , and am not an expert in linux softwares and services but i cann install/configure them , so could anyone please check the DNS for problems ?

I believe that the users of my vpn is infected by a virus or something that sends spam. Are there any other ways that spammer send spam mails without using the smtp ports?
My guess is that they are trying to send it by accessing a webmail. Have you heard of anything like that? how to block spam?

I thought that someone running any script so I disconnect all my LAN connection (simply removed the local lan cable) but I saw the connections is going on....so I watch the processes on proxy server but nothing suspicious....So I change my static IP and the spamming stops (I say it is spam b'coz the IP 203.188.197.10 is of yahoomail.com ) but I when I am putting my OLD ip back the connection starts again......I want to put back my old static IP b'coz I have configured it for many services. Is there any spyware on my machine or someone configured my IP?
I have an ubuntu server running postfix 2.6.5 (configured using DTC). If a user tries to send an email to more than one recipient, and one recipient address is bad, then the server returns an error and no mail is sent (even to the good addresses), rather than letting the good ones through. My company email server has been working flawlessly for the last 5+ years. Recently, one of our clients put their email server behind a firewall (an assumption on my part; details below). Ever since, email sent from within the company (192.168.xxx.xxx internal address; all computers and server is behind a NAT firewall [Netgear FVX538]) is either being sent to the client after some delay (if email is sent using Outlook) or is being deferred until the messages expire (Thunderbird, Squirrelmail, etc.). Email sent to the client from anywhere outside the company (using Thunderbird, Outlook or any other email client) is also delivered without any problems (usually after a short delay).
All other emails to the World are being sent without any problems at all (both inside and outside the company; using any email client or webmail). I did contact the client's postmaster, but the client, being a large government agency, will probably not address the problem (if it is on their side) anytime soon. I am not sure if I can do anything from my end to solve the problem. Ever since the problem with the client began, I added two statements to the postfix configuration file (smtp_pix_workaround_delay_time = 20s and smtp_pix_workaround_threshold_time = 0s); this seemed to a bit - it reduced the delay for emails sent via Outlook to a few minutes (as opposed to 30+ minutes); emails sent using Thunderbird/webmail are still being deferred.
Server details: Dual quad-core processor machine, 32 GB RAM, dual 1 gbps network, running Fedora 14 (64-bit; loosely modeled along the lines of Perfect Server (with ISPConfig2) as described on the howtoforge website). Running Postfix (v. 2.7.1), Dovecot (v. 2.0.9).

I emailed the client's postmaster suggesting they disable smtp fixup. But still, what bothers me now is that Outlook works (both within and outside the company) while Thunderbird, webmail, etc. (used by ~90% of the users) do not. In addition, all email clients from outside the company can send email (authenticated via the company server) to the client without any problems. Is there anything I can do on my end to make non-Outlook clients work within the company (webmail is hosted on the company server; so, it would have an internal address as well)?

We use our own developed CRM and trying to implement such functionality that when CRM manager send email to CRM client or vice versa through email client like Outlook (no plugins for CRM) this message would be shown in CRM. There is already a solution to parse emails from specific emailbox and show it in CRM.
What I need is to create postfix email filter to check if sender email is in file CRM_managers_emails and recipient email is in file CRM_clients_emails then forward that email to [URL] Filter should check both incoming and outgoing messages. I will auto generate CRM_managers_emails and CRM_clients_email files containing all such emails taken from CRM database. I know i should use something like Postfix After-Queue Content Filter but most of examples are for blocking emails.
I'm setting up email gateway using Postfix, Amavisd-new, ClamAV and SpamAssassin on Opensuse 11.1. Everything seems okie, but I can't have messages with added spam headers, such as:

When I try to debug amavis, I can see that SPAM-TAG, <abc@yahoo.com> -> <celeron@domain.com>, No, score=5.406 tagged_above=-999 required=6.2 tests=[LOCAL_DRUG=4, NO_DNS_FOR_FROM=1.407, NO_RELAYS=-0.001] but they don't add to email messages. I've configured amavisd-new with $sa_tag_level_deflt = -999 to add spam headers at all but not successful.
It's possible to configure Postfix in order to check spam only for outgoing email?

I would think that it should be able to query the email server to identify if the address is valid.

So fast forward to today where I got my 1st Android powered mobile phone and I can configure the Android mail client to send/receive IMAP email but my question is do I need to become an open relay to allow my random wireless providers dynamic range of IP's to send mail via Postfix? Seems extremely vulnerable and scary to think I would have to allow my providers IP range to relay mail via my MTA. I started reading a bit and I think I need SASL authentication and since both Postfix 2.8.1 & Dovecot 2.0.11 are both configured / using TLS, is there anything else I would need or you recommend for sending email from my Android powered mobile?

My setup
mail.xyz.com - exchange 2003 server
www.xyz.com - centos 5.3 server with postfix
www.xyz.com can send emails to my hotmail.com account so that part works correctly. www.xyz.com can't send email to username@xyz.com. postfix seems to be delivering the email to itself and not the exchange server.
How can I tell postfix to send the @xyz.com emails to my exchange server?

so i have a question that my proxy server is redhat linux and as a newbie i don't know the command's to find out which pc is creating large bandwidth to the internet. If you tell the command how to see which pc is sending spam then i will discard that pc. Also i want a strong firewall to stop spam activities.
The scenario: We have an external server that runs HTTP/DB servers for out shop system. Then, there's our local, in-house infrastructure that runs a.. yeah... Exchange 2010. The shop system on the external server needs to send mails to customers (order confirmations, invoices, etc.). seing as sending them directly through the local MTA (Postfix) would cause mail delivery problems because of reverse DNS issues, i've set the Postfix MTA to act as a satellite to our in-house Exchange Server, so the Exchange sends the mail instead, giving recipient mail servers a valid reverse DNS lookup.
Now, mails sent by the (proprietary, uneditable) shop system are relayed correctly and sent to the target e-mail address. My problem is: Mails not sent by the shop system, but by our own PHP scripts which run on that same external servers, are NOT relayed properly. So the Exchange is fine with the mails sent by the shop system, but not the mails sent by our scripts. This is what i get in the mail.log: The successfully relayed mail sent by the shop system:

I am working happily with Fedora 8, evolution chatting happily to exchange 2003, calendar sync the works...impressed. This continued through Fedora 9 (though a little bumpy as all odd numbered Fedora releases are). On to Fedora 10, yes works a treat out of the box (DVD). A couple of updates to evolution later, through yumex (fedora updates), and evolution has stopped sending email to the exchange server. It's also touch and go whether I can read email using OWA.
On pressing 'Send/Receive' evolution pops the error,
Error while performing operation.
Exchange transport can only be used with Exchange mail source.
How could I back out these evolution updates?
system is RedHat v4. I removed root: admin-name@domain from /etc/aliases then ran /usr/bin/newaliases.
The admin does not get the emails but now the email generated by the cronjobs is being sent to my-name@domain outlook email from "root@localhost.localddomain". No other changes were made. Where should I start looking for the definition of sent crontab email to my-name@domain?
