View 10 Replies View RelatedI am trying to install Adobe Flash Player on my operating system, my vendor is Red Hat. Then, when I click the Dump File of where I archived the adobe flash player, it states "No Packages were given for installation".So Now it does not want to run itself on the kernel, but I also noticed that there is a "Adobe v10 Bug" right next to where the rpm package was archived. Is there something I might have overlooked?

View 3 Replies View RelatedCan I install Linux 32 bits on system 64 bits?
For example if I have cpu 64 bits, can I install ubuntu 32 bits?
If yes, all drivers will befor 32 bits, right?
I'm quite new to linux and I recently (and courageously) upgraded the computer of my work from opensuse 11.0 32bits to opensuse 11.2 64bits.
Well, everything would be quite fine except that I still have some softwares 32 bits that have the 64 bits version available. I know that because, using YaST, I can see by the Installed software section that there are 'choices' of versions for some programs; these versions are 'i586' and 'x86_64', and many of them have the i586 version installed.
So, I wonder if there is some type of auto upgrade all programs which are i586 and have the matching x86_64 avaliable...
I follow the RHEL6 installation guide to make a USB minimal boot media. The document told me the only thing i need to do is:
Code:
dd if=boot.iso of=/dev/sdb
Where boot.iso is a 200MB ISO image i downloaded from the Red Hat Customer Portal and /dev/sdb is my USB flash drive. But i failed to boot. The USB flash drive's size is 2GB, and my PC's bios supports boot from USB.
I have installed ubuntu 9.10 64 bit. how can I install flash player? I only find ones for 32 bit.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIf I install flash player from yast or from "firefox plugins search", I only install version 10.0.*.*. Now I want to install version 10.1 beta. I downloaded package "flasplayer..." from adobe flash website. Then I extract it and run:
Code:
# nspluginwrapper -v -i ./libflashplayer.so
Install plugin ./libflashplayer.so
into /usr/lib64/browser-plugins/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so
Afterward, I restart firefox and firefox requires install flashplayer . In some tutorials I see " Create symlink plugins to..." after "Install plugin ./libflashplayer.so...". In my computer I can't see this. I use opensuse 11.2 64bit. I try to install flash player 10.1 beta because I can't upload to mediafire Site. How to install 10.1 beta to solve this problem.
i am running ubuntu 10.04 i installed ubuntu restricted extras, and i went on videos. although i can view the video, i can't click on pause, the volume controls, or seek through the video, or put it into fullscreen mode. i went into the software center and searched "adobe flash player", and it came up with adobe flash plugin 10. it doesn't have an "install" button on it, so i double-clicked it, and it said " sorry, 'adobe flash plugin 10' is not available for this type of computer (amd64)."
