I have a CentOS 5 box that is a web server. When it generates emails, all emails should go out through our Exchange mail server.I believe our Exchange server requires NTLM authentication:

currentStatus : If you have no key. then you can log in with your password.
I configured ssh on one of my servers to require public/private key authentication and deny access to login requests not using a public/private key. Now I need to unconfigure that, but I can't remember how I did it. I've looked through ssh_config and sshd_config, and nothing rings a bell. Googling only tells me how to enable public/private key authentication, not how to require it or stop requiring it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am making a webserver running apache2.2.11. The webserver is running fine. I didn't configure/enabling apache with ssl when compiling. So how do I get my webserver to run the SSL? As far as I now apache2.2.11 i does not require to download mod_ssl and openssl, to have the webserver run SSL, But I should have something like this:
# /configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --with-ssl=/usr/bin
When configuring. Is there a way I can enable it now and do I need to install something before enabing it? Or can I just redo this:
# /configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable-ssl
And then rewrite the old version I have with no problems?
I've a task to configure an apache 2.2 with ssl.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using Fedora 13 x64 and have noticed a strange problem with my wireless.
At random intervals it will disconnect, be it 5 minutes or 3 hours and then it will not re-auth no matter how long I leave it. The wireless is running WPA/WPA2, With TKIP/AES encryption. The router only supports b/g and the Wireless NIC is only b/g.
Not sure what driver/software it is using. I noticed I do have wpa_supplicant installed but there doesnt seems to be much happening in /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf apart from the below.
Code:
[daniel@Enterprise ~]$ su -c 'cat /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf'

View 10 Replies View RelatedI have a problem I hope someone here can give me some guidance on. I have been looking for ways to do this and so far have come up short. My need is to keep logs of usage of several copiers for billing purposes. The copiers have a built in account code system, with a 999 code limit and will keep the counts, however we have about 12,000 active accounts. Not every account will have usage every month and not every copier needs every account. The last thing I want to have to do is manually update the copier account information every day.
The copiers can authenticate against NTLM (v1 and v2) and "Active Directory" I am told they will happily access LDAP or e-Directory (we are a Novell shop). I dont' want to authenticate users, I want to authenticate "Accounts". I have a MS SQL database that has the "Account information" and my thought was to set up a way to have an LDAP server access the M$ SQL DB (probably a view) to get authentication for the copier to allow the prints and keep the counts. Which I can then import weekly into the accounting system.
So the question is has anyone ever done something like this? Anyone have any idea how best to go about accomplishing this? I guess I could set up an LDAP server separately for the purpose, but it seems I should be able to consolidate things more than that, so that if the account is "Active" it is Authenticated to the copiers If this works well, I will be probably be moving to moving to phone authentication next.
I'm trying to debug the NTLM LWP module.
I added use LWP:ebug qw(+); to the top of my script, but I can't see any change.
I'm on Windows if that makes a difference (installed activeperl).
I know there are probably a million reasons why something perl won't work, but can anyone help me get debug logging showing up?
I have apatchi (httpd) installed on Fedora, and I am trying to configure the virual server. I have two websites: [URL] and [URL] and the machine has one public IP address. The problem that:
It always returning the default virual host (even if we typed in the url: [URL] or [URL]), it returns the default configured one (which is the first configured virual host). I have one public address on my machine, and my configuration as following:

Actually [URL] is the one which is used for the global configuration.
I'm using the yast2 gui interface to configure apache. I think its called yast2_http_server. I added one website with *:80 set as the virtualhost ID. When I go to add a second website with the same thing, it errors out with: The IP address is already configured on another virtual host: *:80/mydomain.com. I have another opensuse box with many websites in apache configured this way.

The web server component of Apache isn't actually called "Apache" right? It is called something else? I didn't realize there were so many parts. Also, is there a good newbie introduction to how to configure it for a basic web server?
