Fedora X86/64bit :: Install Xampp 32 On F64?

i am new in linux and fedora,i cant install xampp 32 on fedora 64 what i am must to do? Post added at 05:54 AM CDT Previous post was at 05:08 AM CDT i have this error:
sudo /opt/lampp/lampp startapache XAMPP is currently only availably as 32 bit application. Please use a 32 bit compatibility library for your system. The message is very clear that XAMPP doesn't like 32-bit system. So, we will need to cheat XAMPP that the system is 32-bit. First, we will need to install some libraries: i find this for fix this problem but i have error
yum -y install glibc.i686
yum -y install libgcc.i686
yum -y install libstdc++.i686
and now, we need to skip the 32-bit annoying check:
sudo nano /opt/lampp/lampp

I'm trying to install OpenEMR. Official directions how to install can be found here. They say it's required to install MySQL, Apache (or another PHP-capable webserver), and PHP5. So I installed XAMPP following this instructions. I'm not familiar with the XAMPP. I only managed to start it.
Now going back to OpenEMR, I copy the unzipped directory to

I am a new user to the linux world. I am trying to put together a working configuration of Ubuntu 10.04 with XAMPP 1.7.1. (final goal is working kalturaCE application). Anyway, I've gone through all the installation guidelines that I could find and was able to get ubuntu installed (very easy) along with the other two apps. I can successfully browse to the kaltura app from the local network but I cannot get to it from the outside world (cannot get to kaltura or the base XAMPP file)? Is there a configuration where I could have possibly only told apache to respond to localhost and local lan?

When I open the terminal, sign in as administrator, and yum install Xampp I repeatedly get the message, "Child returned status 2, setting up Install Process, no package Xampp available" I get the same message after I download from a different mirror.

I've seen some tutorials where they install xampp, but I see it installs php, mysql and other stuff, my slackware already has mysql, so I don't know if installing xampp would cause some conflicts. The steps I've taken so far
1. Compiled Image Magick from source
2. Compiled imagick PECL module from source
3. Copied the .so files magicwand.so and imagick.so from /usr/lib/php/modules/ to /opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613

I've just installed LAMPP on F11 I wanted to share the process to make Xampp work on linux (fedora) 64 bit.
1- Download Lampp : [URL]../en/xampp-linux.html#374
2- log as root, and unzip the archive file in "/opt" : it is installed !
3- to launch lampp : log as root (or sudo), and use "/opt/lampp/lampp start"
You should have error messages ! So do the following : - modify "/opt/lampp/lampp" : comment this part of the script [URL]..it-rhel.html):

How to get XAMPP running successfully alongside SELinux? Fedora 12 Beta. If I disable SELinux, XAMPP runs fine. If I enable SELinux, I get the following errors:

My laptop is currently running on Windows 7 Ultimate. I have a 320 GB HDD, which I have partitioned as follows. C: Drive as Windows 40 GB capacity and successively partitioned the rest of the drives for 50 GB capacity and left an unallocated space of 67 GB for fedora 13 x64 installation. The problem that I am facing is, that I am unable to install fedora on this unallocated space..even though I am checking the option for "Creating custom Layout". When I check the option for "Creating Custom Layout" Ive been shown with the only option to install fedora on the unused space on the HDD which is around 265 GB. I am also attaching a screen shot of my disk management. how I can install Fedora on this unallocated space of 67 GB?

After installatiion, if you find that you can't connect to your box over ssh, you might find that the service has not been started. Start it with the following from a root prompt:

Is there a quick and easy way to install 32-bit software on my 64-bit Fedora 11 machine? I've got some software that is 32-bit but can't use them because I lack those library files etc. needed to run them. The programs I'm trying to get to work are : LightZone 3.7 and Bibblepro both photo software.I'd hate to go back to Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit (it worked and all that was need were ia32libs I believe.)

I have become interested in learning to use Python and I wanted to use the Eclipse IDE. I wish to find the best way to install the Eclipse IDE and add the PyDev plugin. At the Eclipse.org site I have downloaded the eclipse-SDK-3.6.1-linux-gtk-x86_64.tar.gz is this the correct file I will need for my Fedora 12 (64bit) os? I try install F14 32 bit, f14 64 bit, f15 32 bit and Centos 5.5 and when it arrives at the end of the installation and reboot, my system no boot. I try install it on a Hardware RAID 1 --> 2 x 2TB. Motherboard Intel DH57DD, Core I5, 4 Gb DD3. (Windows 7 afeter install boot OK).

By default, Fedora x86_64 only installs 64 bit libraries under /lib64 when OS installation! I think, it is not very good because there are so many 32 bit application software, without 32bit library, 32bit application can not run at all! Why Fedora not install both libraries by default, any concern?

I installed Fedora 10 x86_64 from DVD this weekend. Once the install was completed and I booted into the new install, I ran the Software Update expecting to find and download security updates. However, to my surprise no updates were found! The install DVD was downloaded and burnt to DVD about two weeks ago. Did the installer fetch and install the F10 updates? Or did I mess up my install and/or configuration of F10? I remember when I installed F9 there were a lot of updates found right after the install.
