Fedora Installation :: Flash Player Installed But Cannot Watch Videos

I have installed flashplayer to my fedora and tried to watch videos which need flashplayer but it wont start. Its seems like my system have installed flashplayer but can't find plugin from mozilla. Tried to check if plugin exists but no. Tried to install it again but no.. same problem again.
Is there a default media player in linux such as windows media/ if so what is the name of it or can i download one that works with linux, i would like for the player to not only play music but watch videos as well.
I have installed the latest version of flash player and watching videos on ..... and other live streaming pages should work, but when i select a video it keeps loading with out playing the video or showing any progress in the loading bar. and i dont have any problems with my internet connection
it seems i have to update to a new flash version? i cannot watch any videos any more. i installed the flash-aid add-on in firefox. under "removal options" i see nothing until i select "expert mode". i have attached a screenshot. what do i need to select there and what are the next steps? i just upgraded to firefox 4.0, on kubuntu10.10.
I have got a new computer today, It's got most new parts in it but I installed all diffrent types of flashplayers, SMF players all that and I still can't play flash or watch videos.
when i try to watch a movie on movie player from the internet i get the requires a Advanced Streaming Format (ASF) demuxer plugin which is not installed. how do i install it?
I am absolute beginner with ubuntu. I have been trying to download and install flash player with little success. I have downloaded it and according to system it is installed. However when I am on the internet and want to listen to the radio I get a message saying I need to install flash player.
I've installed fedora 7 and i'm having difficulties watching videos through my media player provided and on the internet. Should I use adobe flash or something else. When I had fedora 13 there were difficulties downloading adobe flash.
I installed Fedora 10 on a Toshiba Laptop, where I had been successfully running Ubuntu for over a year. The newest iteration of Ubuntu was giving me problems, and the press was saying that Fedora 10 was pretty good, so I tried it.
Fedora 10 froze after any application was loaded. I couldnt correct it. I installed Fedora 9, and am no longer having that problem. However, I cant run any multimedia items on the computer. Particularly videos, including wmv, mpeg, or rm formats. This was not a problem in Ubuntu. I can't find any player or codec that will allow me to play these videos on Fedora 9. Can anyone suggest a solution for this?
yesterday the update manager asked to install some updates. i accepted (as usual). today i found that i couldn't watch videos on videos or some flash content.

I installed "flash-plugin-10.0.32.18-release.i386.rpm" manually to my system in order to let firefox enable watching animated images and video ,but even though firefox still not able to do so. I'm running RHEl 5.

How do I get Adobe Flash Player installed in Debian 6.0.0 (Squeeze?) I went to a couple of sites and tried typing into terminal what they suggested but to no avail. One of the commands had the sideways wavy line in it, but I do not have that key on my Toshiba L-455 Satellite laptop. Could anyone please asist me in getting Adobe Flash Player or the plug in installed.
Just been trying to install flash player for playing vids etc via facebook and getting the msg of "Flash Player needs to be installed". However when trying to install it via sudo apt-get install adobe-flashplugin
I get the msg of "package not available, but is referred to by another package". Tried to get it through APT and get "adobe-flashplugin" is virtual. Also tried deb and get this error msg "Error: Wrong architecture 'i386'. Running Lucid Server with desktop installed as well on BenQ Joybook S42 Laptop.
I am having trouble with adobe flash player 10 in ubuntu 8.10 using firefox 3, I installed it from packages but every time I go to look at a video or what ever I get flash player not installed
I installed it again and read the details when it was completed and although it said the install was succesfull this was at the end (Sha256sum mismatch install_flash player_10_linux.tar.gz plugins not installed
Ok downloaded the SlackBuild script to install flash. I download the the files to go with it and ran the script. The script creates a .tgz in my tmp folder and I install it. After I install it I close out of my browser and re-open to check flash and every website I goto tells me flash is not installed I am a little confoobared with this?
I'm having problems with video files, when i try to watch them on VLC player or Movie player or any other software, its spoiling my picture, colors are fuzzy, it is like, gray color is shown as yellow, white as blue and stuff like that.

I installed flash player for my daughter and lost all my icons. I did " sudo gnome - panel restart and got them back , All but the wireless icon and I do not have a clue how to get it back.
