I have a Table of Contents that I need to edit. Some of the levels are out. It has 7 parts. Part 3 is buried under Part 2. Is there a way to fix this and bring out Part 2 to be a main heading in the Table of Contents? Is there an easy way to do this, or do I need to edit the entire Table? The entries in the Table are linked throughout the document. I've looked at a few tutorials on the Internet, but am still uncertain about how to do this.

Feb 18, 2010I have tried a few packages but cannot find an easy intuitive interface for editing tables in a mySQL database. I just need to simply edit the table field data, import and export multiple rows, and filter the table data so only the rows are returned based on a string that I search for. The tables I edit have several thousand rows and some up to 30,000. I do not know how to write queries and it seems all these packages require that you know how to write sql queries to do what I need to do. On the mac I used Sequel Pro, which is dead easy to use and is mostly point and click to do all the above. Since my mySQL experience is very limited, I really need something simple like this.

The machine the file is on is running SuSE 9.3, with perl 5.8.6 and php 5.2.0 installed. The purpose to this question is this: I have been requested to look into coming up with some form of Geocoding software for one of my company's clients. Specifically, I've been requested to look into trying to obtain Census tract/block information.
I discovered the Perl module Geo::Coder::US, which uses Census input (TIGERLine files) to create a Berkeley DB file, then reads said file to produce its own output. However, the output from Geo::Coder::US only provides latitude and longitude information.At the moment, my only interest is in popping the Berkeley DB file generated with the import script packaged with the Geo::Coder::US module. I'm trying to see what the contents of that DB file are, so I can determine if the information I'm after is even in there in the first place.

General :: Recover File Using FAT Cluster Chain Instead Of Using Stored Length In Its Table?
Feb 1, 2011I'm trying to recover movie files from my TNT receiver hard drive but it corrupts its FAT32 allocation table (crappy cheap device...)
Using dosfsck is useless because the correct file length is the cluster length, not the (shorter) one in the table, and dosfsck only proposes to shorten the file, which I won't do.
Question: how to recover a file using the FAT cluster chain instead of using the stored length in the FAT table?
