Server :: Unable To Install FreePBX - Amportal Binary Cannot Be Found
Feb 11, 2010
I'm installing FreePBX for one of the servers at my work. Im having problems and theres error's coming up saying "amportal binary can not be found" has anyone else had an error like this? Because the installation was going through a tunnel before and the router died so I tried it again by having the installation file locallaly on the machine and then the amportal error comes up towards the end of the installation, But I do a locate, and the file is actually there,
Just upgraded from UBUNTU to FEDORA 11. Installed most add on programs such as cacti & mysqld using YUM INSTALL. With help of 'scottro', I finally got cacti running, but still finding errors (most problems caused by different directory locations in this particular distro).
snmpwalk Binary Path The path to your snmpwalk binary. [ERROR: FILE NOT FOUND] snmpget Binary Path The path to your snmpget binary. [ERROR: FILE NOT FOUND] snmpbulkwalk Binary Path The path to your snmpbulkwalk binary. [ERROR: FILE NOT FOUND] snmpgetnext Binary Path The path to your snmpgetnext binary. [ERROR: FILE NOT FOUND]
Does anyone know where are these directories located in Fedora (11)? Is there a way to find where a directory is located (normally i use 'whereis' )? No such problems when using UBUNTU...
why there is no out-of-the-box package for freepbx so that one could simply do apt-get install freepbx ?This is the most common, most robust gui front-end to Asterisk.Currently, one has to do many custom steps following:
how configure a call center soft-dialer. I just configure freePbx on centos 5.3 and i also configure the internal extension. But i cant understand how to configure outbound & inbound settings on freepbx plz help me, and can anybody help me how to compile the lead management and auto dial of the lead features in freepbx, which software do that and what is the compile method
i have install and configure the qmail server in centos 5.4 and its working fine. i have created the domain (ex - abc.com)in qmail server and also create the user and its working fine. but i am not able to send the mail which user not found in qmail(abc.com) server, which are created on the web (at isp side or pop user)
I would like to install svn, but I am unable to install. sudo apt-get update gives me :
Ign file: eeepc Release.gpg Ign file:/home/user/packages/ eeepc/main Translation-en Ign file:/home/user/packages/ eeepc/main Translation-en_US Ign file: eeepc Release Ign file: eeepc/main amd64 Packages Err file: eeepc/main amd64 Packages File not found W: Failed to fetch file:/home/user/packages/dists/eeepc/main/binary-amd64/Packages.gz File not found
E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead. sudo apt-get install apache2 gives me : Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Unable to locate package apache2
I type in vlc in the command prompt and get the following back:
Quote:
The program 'vlc' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing: sudo apt-get install vlc-nox You will have to enable the component called 'universe' vlc: command not found
I type in "sudo apt-get install vlc-nox" and get the following:
Quote:
Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done E: Couldn't find package vlc-nox
Maybe I'm getting the "Couldn't find package vlc-nox" because I've not enabled the 'universe' component. How do I do that via the command line? VLC's website discusses an alternative way to install VLC:
After install I tried to add firefox but it wasn't found in any of the repositories. I thought it was supposed to be in there. Thunderbird also wasn't. What repositories do you guys add after install?
Just purchased a new Mac book (white) Uni-body Model ID 7.1
Intel 2.4 GHz Core Duo Mac OS X 10.6.4 4Gb Ram (upgraded) Hitachi 500Gb 7200 RPM (Upgraded)
Installed r-EFIt and then ran disk utility created 3 partitions one for Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and two for Ubuntu 10.04 the windows install went smooth was able to boot into either OS without any problems then tried installing Ubuntu and then would get errors using the Live CD that I created I burned two additional disks at slower speeds then tried one of them in a another PC and it would work even ran it in live CD mode now have my taste buds wet want to use it on my Mac Book.
When I tried to install on the Mac Book it would fail with error no device found to install it would not even get to select the language with internal DVD drive so I hooked up a usb drive and would get up to step 4 to where you select the partition to install Ubuntu on this is where it gets to the problem it was blank no internal drive was able to get to Gparted in Live mode and same thing the hard drive would not show up.
I booted back into MAC OS X and ran disk utility it shows the partitions. A additional I tried the option to turn off ACPI before running installer still could not find the hard drive also downloaded a live gparted and same result could not see the HDD.
I installed cdroast that came with ubuntu and received the following:Warning: No root configuration file found or not readable! The superuser must start and configure X-CD-Roast first, before other users can use it.
I searched and found that the root configuration was turned off in some versions and uninstalled, then found a good version at http://www.xcdroast.org/ but when I tried to install from a *.tar.gz and after I ran a ./config.I downloaded glib-2.24.0.tar.gz and got a successful install, and I still receive the GLIB error. If the problem is GLIB_CONFIG environment variable, I do not know how to change that. I cannot locate glib-config either.
I want run binary files but shoot my errors that "Cannot Execute Binary file" I try with ./file, bash file etc i'm using fedora12 with KDE Desktop this happends with all binary files
I want to be able to disassemble a binary file, modify the assembly source, then assemble the modified assembly source back into a modified binary file. Purpose for this is pretty much just to play around with the Crackmes (www.crackmes.de) game.
Now, disassembly is easy, there are several tools that do it, including the standard objdump with the -d argument. However, how would you assemble an assembly source file created with objdump -d? GCC for sure doesn't want to assemble it in that format. What program, script, or arguments to GCC (none that I can think of) can be used to accomplish this? If someone also has some good tips for tools in general for Crackmes beyond what is standard in GNU/Linux I'd love to hear about it.
I wanted to know how can I cross compile SMS SERVER TOOL for an embedded computer and make just one binary file for it or how can I change all of its default files places like its demon and object file and gather all of them to one directory to execute and use and run.let me explain it better for you : I have an embedded computer with Linux OS that its file system is read only and I can not add any file to /usr /lib and ..... and I can just mount a SD memory card to it and copy all of my programs to it and run them from there as you understand I have two choices to choose, first make one big binary file for each program that I am doing it now and it is not a suitable solution and the second is finding the way to change default place of shared object file of my program.now you tell me what can I do to solving this problem.
This is my first time working with samba. I'm getting:
No command 'nmdb' found, did you mean: Command 'nmbd' from package 'samba' (main) Command 'mdb' from package 'mono-debugger' (universe) Command 'imdb' from package 'imdb-tools' (universe) nmdb: command not found
I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Server. I installed samba from command line: apt-get install samba I configured the smb.conf exactly like the Official How To's first tutorial. You know just to get me feet wet and see if it worked.
I have just upgraded from 11.1 to 11.4. When I boot up, I get a command line, but when I do 'startx', I get 'Fatal server error: no screens found'. I have been looking for a solution and tried 'Xorg -configure' but this gives:
Code: Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers/vboxvideo_drv.so: undefined symbol: resVgaShared
I'm trying to upgrade from 8.04 to 9.10 via 8.10 etc. When I run update manager, I get this:
W:Failed to fetch [URL] Unable to find expected entry universal/binary-i386/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?), E:Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
and then it closes. I've unselected all the third party packages and tried various servers, but no difference. I can wget the file, but when I look at it I see entries for "universe/binary-i386/Release", but nothing for "universal" .
I am trying to install either Ubuntu or CentOS server in text mode only. The problem I am having is that the hardware that I am trying to install it on has no vga output, I can only connect to it via console cable. I am able to boot from USB CDROm or flash drive but unfortunately since the hardware does not have a gpu (atleast none that I'm aware of) I am unable to get past the boot screen. If someone can point me in the right direction or know where I would be able to download the text install of either OS, that would be awesome.
There is this server running squid and dansguardian as proxy for the local network. Everything is working fine. But I have seen that from time to time the danguardian dies out and fails to respond to shutdown or restart commands. And this is because of the binary located at /usr/local/sbin named dansguardian goes empty. There are multiple instances and hence copying another named dansguardian.2 to dansguardian does it. And dansguardian works normally as it should. Looked into dmesg and /var/log/messages but nothing there. It was compiled and not installed from pre compiled binaries. And runs on CentOS5.4 Final.
I am trying to redirect connection to port 8980 to execute a telnet command to a local machine by issuing the following command : In Server 1 : socat TCP-LISTEN:8980,fork EXEC:/myscript,reuseaddr
My script contains #!/bin/bash telnet 192.168.20.12 //local Server 2
I am sending Binary data from the client to Server 2 via Server 1. So it happens that I have some characters in Hex translated to special characters in ASCII like open brackets or Commas etc.. and that closed the socket between the two machines.
when i do a paravirtualised install coz fully grey out (how do you get round this) and ftp install path is ftp://192.168.1.1:65354/bie764.iso
i get error:
Unable to complete install 'exceptions.ValueError Invalid install location: Opening URL ftp://tj:tj@192.168.1.1:65354/bie764.iso failed. Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/virt-manager/virtManager/create.py", line 724, in do_install dom = guest.start_install(False, meter = meter)

does it not accept ftp passwords.. what ftp server program (with autostart so it works with crossover linux as i know no other way start apps with that. can try to insta wine but need rpm) will work
I've had Ubuntu 11.04 installed on my desktop since it's release. Up until an hour ago, it was working fine. I clicked on an update from the update manager, now booting into a graphical mode is completely broken, (the start-up load hangs at 'Check Battery State ... [0k]'). I restarted my computer, and booted into safe mode, and launched the terminal. This all works fine. I then typed :
Code: sudo gdm start into the command prompt, hoping that I would be able to start things manually. Instead, it spat out this: Code:
gdm-binary[230]: WARNING: Unable to load file '/etc/gdm/custom.conf'. No such file or directory. gdm-binary[230]: WARNING: Unable to find users : no seat-id found. gdm-binary[230]: WARNING: Gdm Display: display lasted 0.070467 seconds
The last line was printed about 8 times, with slightly different times, before it gave up and failed. Some information which might help, I have Gnome 2, Unity and KDE (not sure which version), installed. My graphics card is the GTX 275, and I have driver the Nvidia driver 275.21. So yeah, I think the update has gone and moved custom.conf somewhere, but I have no idea on how to fix it. I have a graphics programming assignment due on Friday and I would be eternally grateful if I could get this fixed well before then.
