Ubuntu Networking :: Wireless Network Doesn't Work With A TPLink PCI Card?

I'm trying to activate a wireless network on an ubuntu server 10.04. The machine has a TPLink PCI wireless card. Card is well recognized, and scanning for wireless connection it finds correctly the essid of the access point in the room. But when I try:

SET failed on device wlan0 ; Invalid argument.I looked for similar situations over many forums, and I found that it could be the card doesn't support the encryption type (My AP uses WPA with TKIP). However if I use an ubuntu desktop live CD on the same machine, I can connect witouth any problem with NetworkManager 0.8.
I have a Toshiba Satellite series laptop, i get ubuntu on it, all works well but there's a problem, my wireless card doesn't work, it doesn't show me the aviable wireless network, my Wireless Card is an Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+ (rev 10) but it works in windows. I used Ubuntu 8.04.4 LTS. When i run these codes that's what it shows:
I have an issue with wireless connectivity on my laptop. Its a HP dm3 and the intel network adapter is supported as I can scan and detect wireless access points.However, when I attempt to connect to my home network, it fails and this is probably a result of two things: The BSSID is missing and/or the DHCP client ID is missing.I am running Kubuntu 10.10 32 bit
Yes, that's correct, it's a Celeron 400 running Xubuntu. And the card was working on 9.10, but not working anymore in 10.04 neither in 10.10.I've no other idea and I'm really considering moving back to 9.10Is there anything else I can check.
I have a Belkin Enhanced Wireless USB Network Adapter Model # F6D4050 v2. The drivers are for windows but the windows wireless drivers app doesnt work. I see a tutorial for a linksys that appears to have the same chipset, but I am not sure if any of the steps need to be modified, also my kernel is a bit different. Here is my kernel:
I installed Ubuntu on a machine after erasing everything else and the wireless has never worked. It says that the wireless has already shut down even though it recognizes the wireless network and my other non-linux machines see the network and work fine.
I have an Aspire 7741z running Ubuntu 10.04 I just loaded the 32 bit version today, then did the Update manager (398 updates) Before the update everything worked fine. After the update, no wireless. Password & security is correct, all wireless setup is correct. Aside from my network, I do have access to a local hotel (next door) and I can always get into their unsecured guest network, that doesn't work either.
I believe it is the driver since I have loaded Ubintu 10.10 32 bit with the same reaction. It will connect when I put in the live disk, but not from the hard install. output from lspci

I'm running Ubuntu 10.04 Server. I can't get my Wireless Card & Wired Card to work at the same time. My interfaces file is incorrect, when I comment out 1 of the interfaces the other works. I have attached my interfaces file.
I'm very new to Debian (and Linux in general), and am currently taking a Linux course at college... I'm trying to get Debian running on my MacBook Pro (late 2009 model) and it's been complicated but I've got the operating system installed on it... The problem with my wireless network. I have Dell DV6 Pavilion 2115 eg laptop and i installed Ubuntu 11.4 and internet and wireless worked, until i reboted my system it has disapear. my wireless home network is not recognized by my network card (RealTek RTL8190 mini PCI). The post was as follows: "I am using a new computer with Windows 7 , Athlon quad core 2.60 64 bit, 8GB RAM. I was looking for windows XP drivers to use Ndiswrapper but could not find a list of .inf files. My network is OK and works perfectly in windows and with my 2 laptops. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Additional info: install was done within Windows using WUBI to a separate partition on my HDD. I am new to this and thouroughly confused as to the procedure for installing the drivers if they are in fact available."
I am very frustrated in that I would like to use Ubuntu 10.04 but it is useless without internet connectability. I am new to linux and do not understand where to get the appropriate drivers or how to install them. I wish someone would answer this post and either give me a clue what to do or just say "give up" and uninstall ubunutu.
i installed suse (KDE) on my old notebook and now I'm trying to get the wlan to connect to our router and can't figure out how to get it to work. My card seems to work, the network manager even finds the router, but i just cant get a connection. I followed the steps of the "Getting Your Wireless to Work" thread and these are the results:

- i tried a usb-wlan-card as an alternative, which didn't work either, but could possibly have messed things up even more.
Recently I have installed Fedora 14 on my other laptop. It's a dual boot with Windows 7. Everything worked perfectly fine, networking included, until my friend didn't accidently turned off the wireless by pressing a wireless button on the laptop. Since then the wireless on Fedora doesn't work. It does on Windows thought. I've tried restarting the laptop few times, but the wireless still doesn't want to work again.
I want to load Atheros wireless card to ubuntu linux OS having kernel 2.6.32.21. I have loaded the atheros driver and I observed the following log messages when card was inserted.

My suspect was the driver was 2.6.35.1 kernel based i may need to update my kernel, but i have other laptop having 2.6.32-21 kernel and this card works fine.
So here's the thing: I have a mobile broadband pcmcia card that worked just well on jaunty, but as I installed karmic it doesn't work, coz it mounts the card's storage but doesn't recognize the hardware. The help says I need the package 'udev-extras', but there's no such package for karmic and the one for jaunty doesn't work with karmic.
I have been messing around with ubuntu for a few hours now trying to get my wireless driver to work, but I am having no luck. It seems like I installed the driver right, and network-admin use to show the wireless, but I couldn't unlock it to mess with properties. Now it doesn't even show wireless, and I still can't unlock it, so I'm unable to get my wireless card to work.
I have a Dell inspiron E1705 that I recently installed 10.04 LTS on. The wireless card i'm using is a Belkin express card that worked perfectly fine with 9.1 but won't work with 10.04. lspci -v output shows the card as installed with a driver listed but under capabilities is says "access denied".
I've just loaded ubuntu to give my old laptop a new leece of life. Everything is fine expect that I can't get the wireless card to work. It just doesn't seem to be exist on my computer anymore. The computer has a button to turn wireless on and off, which worked when it was a windows system, but doesn't seem to do anything anymore. I'm an absolute ubuntu beginner.
I know some wireless card can work in Master Mode but it seems use madwifi driver. I know madwifi doesn't support usb dongles find a usb wireless card which can work as AP under Ubuntu. I have check this list [URL] I am not sure if ar9170usb.ko and its device support Master MOde.
